I have been really disappointed in this store ever since they installed self checkouts. But I don’t believe it’s the employees fault. I believe this is the fault of the company. I used to feel bad for the employees when they had to run the front end AND stock the whole store. The company fixed that by installing self scan and having the employees do just the stocking. This actually took away what I consider the most important job of the store, Customer Service. I no longer get greeted walking into the store or given a good day walking out of the store and I’m forced to scan my own items. If there’s a problem I have to wait till I happen to see an employee or I have to search for one to help me. Nobody can tell me that Dollar General can’t afford to hire a few more employees so there can be a couple stockers plus a couple front end employees so that Good Customer Service can come back. It’s their GREED that stop them from doing so. As a result I am one of the customers that was usually in there every day and have started to come in less and as of today won’t be back. Pretty sad because I actually like the products but can’t take the lack of customer service and human contact.

Always a mess u boats left in aisle ways. The manager obviously has know idea how to do a change order. Can't get cash back. Can't use a fifty dollar bill because it's to big of a bill. Signs asking for one's and fives. Learn how to manage money. It's ridiculous.
New manager now, always on her phone has earbuds in and does not acknowledge you. The store itself is looking better but there management choices are not good . Looking like a DM is the way to go..

Standing in a line of about 10 people long and the manager is having a conversation in the back with another employee while one cashier is doing it all herself. Store is always a disaster
