Auto Repair in Saint Ignace, MI

“Previous to going over to George’s I went to a local shop in Bay City that works on imports. I was having issues with my Infiniti. My vehicle stayed at their shop for a day only to find out that I needed a new transmission. For a used one it was going to cost me $9400. When I arrived back on Mackinac Island I started to get prices on having a transmission put in. One of the places I called was George’s. After talking to Joe I agreed to bring it in and have them inspect it to verify that’s what I needed. My vehicle was with them a short time when I received a call from Joe. They had found out it was a cracked Air Intake Hose. Basically a less than a $100 fix. I requested Joe to keep it overnight so that he could drive it to verify that was the problem. I received a call the next day and sure enough that was the issue. After spending almost 19 years in the automotive industry and now owning an Automotive Recruiting Firm I have never found a more honest service shop then George’s. I will be bringing my motorhome to them as well. George’s is my shop for now on”
