I called Kroger talk to a manager about Purdue chicken that was recalled she said yes absolutely bring it back if ur not comfortable with it we will give you a refund. So I got the chicken nuggets and when I got there a male manager said nope no refund not a recall can't do anything for you even after saying I called and talked to another manager about it he was so rude just brushed it off he said did you get sick I said I never opened it bc of the recalls on Purdue chicken and I wanted my money back he once again said nope he was so disrespectful and I will never shop at Kroger again be careful of this store they lie and are very shady with things and this manager needs to be fired for refusing to take back recalled chicken it's the st johns store

Approximately 12:50pm today, cashier was an older woman, short brown hair, glasses. I needed help with a WIC transaction and she was so incredibly rude and unhelpful. It was an already stressful situation, I had tried to use self checkout and had an issue so decided just to take it to a cashier. She was cold, impatient, and made me feel like I was wasting her time. I’m very unhappy with the service I experienced during my visit today. Do better.

If you ever stop by Kroger's in St. John's, I highly recommend keeping an eye out for Sandra, the customer service representative. She wears a red vest. Every time I see this young lady, she is always a hard working, friendly and a smile on her face. She helps customers and other co-workers and she gets a job done. I wish Kroger's had more people like Sandra. I want to take a moment and send acknowledgment to her. I believe Kroger's itself should also acknowledge her for her hard work and positive attitude.

Cashier was great very nice and warming. I’ve shopped here many times before with little to no issues at all from staff. But today was different October 16th 2023, I’m not sure which transgender twin it was but they smelled strongly of weed, you could tell he just smoked it, his voice was raspy and he was clearly out of it. I’ve never felt more disgusted. On top of that I’m allergic to weed and the smell of it makes me break out in hives and make me very nauseous. I’m very disappointed in this kind of behavior. I get work can be stressful but smoking weed while you still have to help customers is disgusting.

I have always loved this Kroger location. Staff are awesome, it's always clean, they have a great selection of food and high-quality produce. Additionally, their bakery is fantastic and very talented!
