The St Johns, MI Walgreens location is a very nice store. Good selections of stock, nice employees. Recommend this small town store for a good Walgreens experience.

Went into the pharmacy to pick up a prescription for my wife. The staff informed me that my insurance company required a prior authorization for this medication that my wife has been on for her asthma for 40+ years. I explained to them that she really needed this medication to help her breathe while she was fighting a cold. They were able to find me a discount that made the medication very affordable and within 15 minutes, I was out the door and on my way home. The staff at the St. Johns Walgreens store is the best!!

I will never darken their doorstep again! Went in to use the bathroom and get some chocolate. And was followed around the store like I was a criminal or something

Had an appointment for a Flu and Covid vaccines and they are telling my that my prescription card is invalid or inactive yet I have used it recently for medication refills. This is 100% unacceptable

Walgreens is a fantastic place to get your medication with over 100 years in business! That means something to me, and they are clean and well organized! I got some great coupons and there are some fantastic sales going on at Walgreens during this vaccine kick. I went in to get my updated Covid-19 vaccine and ended up getting my flu and one more. My Walgreens app said it was safe, and my arm sure is sore. It was worth it though, I feel much better and I took advantage of my coupon as well! The pharmacy was really busy too and all of them were very business driven! I left a very happy customer with a big smile!

Too bad you do not have negative stars! I scheduled an appointment online for my 94-year-old mother and myself for 11:30am, to receive a flu shot. I happen to be disabled, so my older sister brought us both to the appointment. They are delightful in the front of the store and know me well. The store is within three blocks of my house, I used to spend an average of $500.00 a month not including prescriptions. We arrived at 11:15am and waited tolerantly until the tech helped a person behind us. When it got to 12:00 my 94-year-old mother inquired when you think we can be seen. The tech handed us a clipboard to complete information because she said the computers were not working. I politely returned them to her and said we were going elsewhere. Because of past experiences with the same tech. I have at least three witnesses that she discriminated against us because of my disabilities and both of us being seniors. As well as a person of color usually brings us into the store. At a minimum, clear elder abuse. My 94-year-old mother deserves respect. I also observed the Pharmacy Manger standing nearby. He also should be held accountable for the same. I hold all health care professionals in high regard. Regrettably Walgreens Pharmacy Saint Johns do not deserve that status.Peter FortinCC: Attorney Dana Nessel

I had prescriptions with Walgreens in St Johns for a long time. The staff has become very poor with customers and service especially the pharmacy. I hope to never go to this location for prescriptions ever again.

I have been filling my script at this pharmacy for the last 5 yrs and on 9/2 I went in to fill it like I always do every month, they told me it was a day to early and I told them this is something I have to have or I can get really sick and that I was on my way up north and couldn’t fill it tomorrow. She said try to find a pharmacy up north. I said if you won’t fill it then no you else will. She said there are pharmacies that will fill it early. That told me that my insurance would fill it but it was the pharmacist that wouldn’t. My script has never been to early in the last 5 yrs. It’s every 28 days. This pharmacist didn’t care if I got sick or not. Very disappointed in their pharmacy!! I have spent a lot of time and money in that store while waiting for my medicine. ???

Excellent service, they worked out a problem that I had with getting a script. I had to drive all the way from Lansing and they were very accommodating. Highly recommend!

I have tried for 2 and a half months to get a Rx filled, with the prior authorization in my hand. I have "discussed" this 4 times with pharmacists and techs. Each time they demand they are correct and I am wrong. I work in the medical field, I am familiar with the med I came in for. Each time I was treated like a child and lectured at. Today, I finally got my medicine corrected, after speaking with 3 people. I sincerely thanked the pharmacist for helping and getting it corrected, and then she started lecturing me about all the excuses why they were unable to fill it. I had previously called my insurance company and they told me the pharmacy was entering as a 32 day supply and not a 30 day supply. I had mentioned this little tidbit everytime I spoke with the pharmacy since February.... but I was wrong. I will be transferring my medications elsewhere.
