Silver Beach Hotel is a basic, budget-friendly hotel currently being updated and renovated. The rooms are appropriate for the price, described as decent, clean, spacious, and with comfortable mattresses and pillows. The front desk staff are friendly, great, super helpful, and very nice. The location is close to everything and cannot be beat, offering tremendous potential. It is within walking distance of Silver Beach, downtown shopping, restaurants, breweries, wine tasting, and The Market, allowing guests to walk everywhere without needing a vehicle. The hotel is a work in progress, with the pool and restaurant not open. Some rooms lack a hairdryer, iron, ironing board, or closets. While some areas are clean, other rooms have been noted as not clean, with reports of dust and dirty surfaces. Occasional issues like hallway odors or noise from neighboring dogs have been mentioned. The continental breakfast includes muffins, yogurt, coffee, toast, and cereal. The hotel is pet-friendly, accommodating even large dogs. For those seeking a more upscale experience, it is advised to book elsewhere, but many guests report a great experience and would definitely stay again.
Overall the hotel wasn’t good or bad. The only true drawback was the shower. No water pressure and it took a long time for the water to warm up. Quiet location, comfortable bed.

Finally after yewrs of trying got to stay here at a good price and not booked! Great views from the room, clean and comfortable beds! Staff was very friendly and super helpful! Can't wait for our next stay!!

My go to place whenever I am down to west Michigan. Staff is great and location is super convenient. Hotel is dog friendly which makes it the best
