The St Joe Michigan post office has posted hours until 6:00 but since they are a government office, they can do whatever the hell they want to. The employee that locks the door 5 minutes early gets to flaunt their power with no consequence because you certainly can't call anyone to complain to a manager since no one will answer and the system might just hang up on you and obviously they're not going to pay attention to Google reviews like any normal diligent business would have to do.

Wonderful historical building. A wonderful greeting from an employee behind the desk. Conveniently located and easy to get in and out. Appreciate all that the USPS does and will continue to support them as long as I can.

I just looked up the hours for the post office and saw that they only have a 3.2 star rating. I am sorry, but every time our family goes in, all of the employees are always kind and helpful and have suggested different ways of shipping something to save a little money. They are not deserving of such a low rating. I wish more people would realize they have a tough job and by taking the time to ask how their day is going or just give them a smile and say "Hope you have a good day!' would go a long way to boost their morale. They need to know they're important to us as we utilize their services. My cousin retired from the post office in Indiana just a few years ago and as a mail carrier she said you would encounter many difficult days but there were always ppl on her route that went out of their way to show kindness in simple words like I mentioned. She said it made her day to get to see someone's smile. So just remember that you never know what kind of day someone may be having and a smile and a kind word in passing for them would go a long way. Blessings all!!!

Our mail did not get delivered today and I’m guessing it was because a Xmas light fixture was near the mail slot. I tried to get papers in the slot to make sure our mail could be delivered and was able to do so without a problem so I assumed the mail carrier would be able to do the same.

Our mail has been showing up opened. We just received a card from our aunt, and the top was ripped open. Thankfully, there was no money in it. St Joseph post office has a mail thief. Make sure you or anyone you know is not sending any form of money to this area. When I tried to call to make a complaint, they hung up on me.

The people working here are so friendly and helpful. They have a good attitude and I’ve never had a package go wrong from this post office. It’s nice to see a smile.

I'm unable to contact anyone at this office about my package they've been hold for a month now. I live 10 hours away and can't just drive up there for a book.
