“I was stuck on a plumbing issue I was having today and I went in store and couldn’t figure it out so I asked an associate for help, I believe his name was James. I told him I was quoted $1000 by a plumber and that just wasn’t in my budget so I told him my idea and what I wanted to do and this man went above and beyond to help me come up with a solution and he was INCREDIBLY helpful. However, I was very displeased that after all of the time and effort we had taken to come up with a solution, he was stopped by two other associates and I was Ultimately given a phone number reference to another plumber by one of the associates who stopped him from helping me and undid everything we had been working on. I understand that he probably took more time than they would’ve liked for him to help me, but considering that I am starting a remodel and have been in this Home Depot almost daily (sometimes multiple times a day) and have spent thousands of dollars, I truly appreciated the extra time. So I ended up going back and buying everything anyway AND DID THE SAME EXACT THING HE DID all over again and it worked perfectly!!! He saved me $1000.”
“I went to Lowe's today to grab wood to build a garden bed. Stephen and Rosa were beyond helpful and knowledgeable. Not only that but incredibly friendly, compassionate, and kind as I had my 1.5 year old daughter with me. Rosa held my daughter's hand as I pushed the flatbed cart down the aisle. The cashier's offered to push my cart and check out my items for me while I held my daughter who was ready for lunch and nap. I pulled my car up front and Adam helped me load my car up which made things easier for this momma is solo parents during the day.”
