My horrifying ordeal with LaFontaine Automotive Group in Michigan began in July when I placed an order for a car, paying a significant $10,000 down payment and an additional $5,000 for shipping to my state. As the weeks passed without any updates, I grew increasingly anxious. My attempts to get information from the dealership only resulted in vague reassurances to "just wait" for the payment.After persistent follow-ups, I discovered that the loan place had no record of my loan, leaving me shocked and frustrated. Despite my escalating concerns, the dealership continued to stall, repeating the same evasive responses every time I called. Fast forward to November, and I received a threatening letter from their "Legal" team, demanding the car's return within seven days or a staggering $105,000 payment. They even hinted at pursuing legal action against me!It became clear that LaFontaine Automotive Group's negligence in handling my paperwork led to this situation. They had failed to submit my signed lease documents, resulting in their inability to secure financing. Now, they were shamelessly attempting to shift the blame onto me, the unsuspecting customer. Their approval of the deal and release of the car to a different state without proper paperwork checks is beyond comprehension.LaFontaine Automotive Group's unprofessional behavior and deceitful practices are appalling. Their attempts to strong-arm me into returning the car and the General Manager's consistent avoidance of my calls showcase their lack of integrity and accountability.I urge the management of LaFontaine Automotive Group to take immediate responsibility for their actions and call me to resolve this matter. It's time for them to stop dodging communication and confront the situation they have created.Avoid LaFontaine Automotive Group at all costs! Save yourself from the headache and heartache of dealing with these unscrupulous individuals.

I brought my van in for a few things and ended up needing a new back up camera. Ok fine, $630 later after they already installed it telling me everything else was good all of a sudden they needed a new $250 harness for it to work. Well I can either have them take it out or pay the money for the harness, so after telling them the harness is way cheaper online they agreed to give it to us for $180. On top of all that I brought my car in for a Tuesday morning 7:30am appointment and they didn’t even look at it until Thursday (what’s the point of an appointment then?!) and I was told it would be done Thursday, then it was Friday because they needed this magical harness, then it was Monday because the part apparently got cancelled and never came, then when I heard nothing Monday and had to call them I was told the part didnt come in Monday but maybe tomorrow (Tuesday) or hopefully sometime that week. Couldn’t give me a date of when it would come in, mind you I have 2 kids in car seats and being without my van for a week and a half was super stressful. I had to provide my own rental vehicle from Tuesday until Friday (which they didn’t even look at my car for two whole days!) and they ended up giving me a rental through them for the remainder of the time they had my van. The ONLY reason I am giving two star is because they did eventually give me a rental car and because Tim the guy who was helping me and in touch with me was very kind and apologetic and I appreciated his humanity. Another complaint I have is that they had my car for 10 days mainly just sitting there and they couldn’t even fill up my low tires with air. There’s no way they missed they were low due to them having to look at my dash to fix it most of the time. I kind of feel like at a dealership you should be treated better than that especially since I bought my van there.

We recently signed a lease for a Jeep with the help of Patrick Bonney. Patrick made the process extremely easy and hassle free. There are no gimmicks or tactics, he was upfront and willing to work with us to ensure a smooth process. We have a young baby so spending hours at a dealership was not something we could do, we were able to do the entire process from home and have the car delivered to us. From start to finish we were beyond happy with the service and experience we had. I will be recommending Patrick and his colleagues to all our friends and family!

The service I recieved from Genthe Chrysler Dodge put a smile on my face as soon as I pulled my vehicle in and was greeted by Brandon after that it was A+ customer focus service. Brandon told me it would take 3 hours to take care of the recall part I took my Jeep in for to letting me know he was calling for transportation to take me home and pick me up when my vehcle was ready. Asta drove me home and picked me up and she was delightful. I appreciate the customer focus service with quality.

We are so happy with the service department. I brought my van in for an issue with the window and an oil change. They successfully fixed the window and identified a few other issues. They successfully worked with the warranty department on multiple items. Brandon in the service department communicated clearly with me and was a pleasure to work with. We will definitely return again for service.We have always driven there which is further from home to purchase vehicles from Lucy. Now we will drive there for service as well.

Oil change went up 100% under new ownership (over $100 for standard 5Qt). I can only imagine what repairs look like now. The guys who work there do good work, as a customer for over 5 years, I will not be back. It just never occurred to me to get an estimate for an oil change. I will go elsewhere.

LaFontaine Saline, specifically the GM Kris & Brandon of the service department, earned each of those 5 stars by going above and beyond to rectify a very frustrating situation I encountered with my leased vehicle. They dealt with my frustration like true professionals and made sure I left feeling like I'd been heard and that things were made right. I appreciate their grace and patience through what was absolutely not an easy ordeal on either of our ends, and am grateful to know this is the kind of place that truly takes care of their people.

Can’t say enough good things about this dealership and all their workers specifically Patrick. He worked very hard to get me the best deal within my price range and low mileage. He made the whole process so easy and not stressful. There was lots of laughs the 2 days working with him.

First time buying a car for too many years and process was a dread . That being said, Matt from sales was outstanding in smoothing the process where a great car, fair price and outstanding follow-up/service was the end result. Big shout out to Matt in sales and Cheyenne in service!!! The service and sales department are always great here in Saline. I leased my first car from them in 2018 and it went smoothly. Unfortunately, I did not lease my car through the Saline LaFontaine in 2021 due to the major car shortage during that year (I would of if I could have.) I ended up getting my new lease with the LaFontaine in Detroit because they were the only ones who had the car I wanted available. However, I had MAJOR issues with the Detroit LaFontaine. So, I decided to purchase my car out of the lease I had with LaFontaine in Saline. This was my first lease buy out and Matt answered all of my 1000 questions. They worked with me and the process of buying my first car was pleasant. Thanks so much again. Go to Saline for service and sales! :)

The write up young lady was very helpful and accommodating. As for the service, the speaker was on back order for a very long time but works well now. I also had my tires rotated and balanced and now the truck has a shake. I have an appointment to return it for a re-balance. It is very difficult to keep returning for parts and now a newly created service issue.

I cannot say enough about the excellent experience I had with LaFontaine Saline! I actually traveled there all the way from Hawaii to buy a hard-to-find model that they had advertised (used Tacoma TRD Pro). My salesman, Isaiah Christie, and Steve Thompson in finance were incredible. Isaiah was ultra responsive, organized, and easy going. The entire experience was smooth with no surprises. Traveling 5000 miles to buy a used vehicle could be nerve racking, but it could not have gone better! I felt very well taken care of and appreciate how they handled everything. Aloha! Dave Carmichael

The crew at the Saline location was super helpful! First vehicle purchase of my own and our salesman Doug helped me sort though several vehicles to narrow down which one had the best fit for me and my family. One of their best finance managers, Olivia, helped me find the best deal for financing the vehicle that best fit my financial situation and monthly budget requests. I highly recommend this team!

The help at the service deck was very kind and pleasant. I am a senior citizen and sometimes are taken advantage of. I was assisted by a young lady named Cheyenne. She was very kind and helpful to me. The fee for the work was VERY PRICEY but I know she can’t help that. Anyway, the car runs great and I will continue to bring it in as needed. Good job Jeep dealer. You have a winning crew on hand!!!
