The access gate is broken as indicated by others over a week ago. Customer care doesn't seem to care as they were giving generic answers that property manager is aware, no ETA.The online sign up was smooth. Trying to login after sign up gave me errors, poor post sign up experience.

We rented a site here since before SpareBox bought out the previous ownership. Potential customers should understand that since SpareBox took over, rent increases occur every 6 months without fail. My own rental price increased 37% over the past year. Meanwhile, service and access to the facility has decreased. There is no longer a person working at the office on site. They also modified the automated gate and kiosk on both sides. The keypad is in such an awkward position that if you are driving a large RV or pulling a trailer, it is now necessary to exit your vehicle to use the keypad or you may need to back your vehicle up after keying in your code in order to negotiate the exit without hitting something. I recently spoke with their customer service agents and complained about the constant rate hikes and found them to be condescending while also advising that all their customers know that their rates will go up every 6 months because it's on their contract. In summary, SpareBox provides a limited, no touch service with a basic storage offering. Their investment into improvements is all in automation to minimize employees. Their rents increase every 6 months. If all you need is RV storage for the season, you can get it here but consider this a short duration storage provider and plan to find a new provider within 6 months to 1 year.Update 9/11/2023 (Reply to Owner's response suggesting that I contact customer service): As indicated in my review, I actually did contact Customer Service prior to sharing my experience with Googlers. The Customer Service agent told me that once Corporate posts a rate hike, there is no going back, it's permanent. When I complained about prices and 6 month increases, he touted improvements. I countered that there are no improvements at the Saline location because the changes made have impeded access to and from the facility (kiosks require people to get out of their vehicles or to back up which is tons of fun when people are behind you). Anyway, I will be happy to contact your central office again and reference your post.

I’ve used this storage facility for 10 years and had only had a few rate increases until Sparebox took over. For my increased rent I got broken gates that were then relocated to the most inconvenient location. I hate having to navigate my trailer through the maze and having to actually park and get out to use the keypad. I don’t know why they couldn’t just move the gate back to where they installed the new fence if they wanted to allow access to the building before the gate.I’ve also never had issues with bugs or rodents until this year. My unit is over run with bugs and I’ve had two dead mice. I am currently in the process of relocating to a new unit elsewhere that has daily staffing and convenient access for a similar price.

This was a locally owned storage lot until Sparebox purchased it under a year ago. Now they’ve removed all human contact, made drive-in access to the storage lot more difficult and raised the rates twice. When you call to inquire about anything, you’re routed to a contracted call center in the Caribbean. Want to talk to someone local about your concerns? They won’t give you any contact information. All calls and emails go through the faceless, nameless call center and Sparebox may or may not ever see or address your concerns.Don’t rely on the reviews from earlier than September, 2021 because the lot was under different, better, local ownership prior to that.2/28/23… And now they‘ve just raised the rates for a third time in the short time they’ve owned it.8/28/23 — Update. They just raised the rental rate another $10/month for a total increase of $17/month this year and a total of $30/month (a 50% increase) since they bought the property just under 2 years ago.
