This place needs a lot of love, but it's not too bad. The bed was comfy, but it's a good thing I brought my own sheets because the ones they had were not very soft. A few spiders were there to keep me company, but at least, there weren't any bed bugs. The smell was weird and unpleasant, but I bought an air freshener and the problem was temporarily fixed. Also, there was a lady having an existential crisis and we could all hear it, so beware that the isolation is not the best.Noteworthy details: Looks wheelchair accessible.

Dirty, smelly, old, run-down, a huge mistake.

We rented a room for the night (room 11). Pulled the covers back on the bed and my boyfriend noticed little brown spots on the sheets. We started looking through the bed and the underside of the bed. Sure enough as plain as day BEDBUGS. Thank god we didn't bring our things in this room. We showed the staff (not their fault , they just work there) and got our $ back. We ended up staying across the street at Bench Warmers (West Park Inn). Great place, better price and NO bugs. Very friendly staff as well.Rooms: Don't stay here!Safety: Bedbugs

Checking in was easy and adding extra days was convenient. Was able to keep my two small dogs with me for a small added fee.

Great little gem in Sandusky Michigan. Paula was extremely courteous and helpful. Rooms are efficient and clean. Restaurants close by within walking distance. And the town of Sandusky right around the corner.

Front desk employee (who also appeared to be the ONLY employee) seemed tired, overworked and underpaid. Very kind and good at her job but needs a raise and a vacation. The rooms are a joke. Incredibly tiny, barely room for a king size bed. You can get a room twice the size at West Park down the road for the same price. The Jacuzzi room is ridiculously expensive considering the location of the motel, size of the room, quality of the furniture/appliances, and weakness of the jets in the tub.Every single room in this motel needs to be gutted and redone. The bedspreads are horrible to look at and to touch. The tubs, sinks, and showers do not drain in over half of these rooms. The lights constantly flicker.Breakfast is disappointing. Cold cereal or prepackaged donuts or muffins. That’s it. Keurig was a nice touch though. Breakfast room reminds me of a chow hall in the military, only more sad. Lobby is clean but eerily empty. Needs a loveseat and coffee table, or maybe they could serve breakfast in there instead. Let’s be honest, you wouldn’t need many tables.Overall the service I received was top-notch, but it was discouraging to see such a kind and helpful employee seemingly being left in the dust by her boss. This place needs one or two more full time employees, and a real maintenance team. Even if all they did was update all the furniture, fix all of the plumbing issues and maybe throw up a fresh coat of paint, this would be a four star review. I can deal with a small room. These are EXTREMELY small but if they’re going to be this small for this price, they need to be up to date and well maintained. But the prices really should be drastically reduced because at these prices, this motel does not compete with West Park Inn. Look at your location. There is NOTHING to do here. Why would anyone voluntarily stay here when 500 yards down the road is a real hotel with real rooms and real prices, other than the other place being booked?

This place covers the basics and absolutely nothing more. The bed is comfortable but the room is tiny and outdated. You have a TV that’s a reasonable size. You have a toilet and a full size shower/tub. You have free Wi-Fi, but don’t expect it to be fast (or even acceptable if I’m being honest. It’s dog slow). The real kicker is the price though. You WILL pay more here for a smaller and older looking room than you’d get at the West Park Inn which is spitting distance from here. Not quite sure how they get away with that but I needed a place to stay and was too tired to fight over price.

If I could leave a negative Star I would.. we checked in at 5am the guy took my card and I’d for on file he said I tried to paid cash he said he was unsure and we would have to come back in the morning to pay something was wrong… we received a phone call at 6am asking when we coming back to pay… seriously we just drove 6ths from IL and wanted to get a sleep so we explained we will be in a few hrs. Another call 9am as we are trying to get the water to warm up guess what no warm water. My boyfriend explained we are trying to get ready why are you calling us again and why no warm water. Third call 9:05am he says I’m calling the police. Police come we explain everything had to re give out information the police officer apologizes to us..

Room was musty smelling, shower drain backed up. We were moved to another room which also smelled. I wouldn't recommend this place.

I stayed in the sweet room and it was terrific. Twin and king bed, bathroom with jacuzzi tub, little dining area nice tv. Really good breakfast, nice people, very nice room. But very loud at night, the people in other rooms were very noisy.
