Love this store. Google say it's open 10am-9pm today. I drove all the way from grand rapids because this is the only location that I know of in Michigan. Anywho no sunglasses for me today, been waiting weeks to get a day off to come out and look at the $75 pair I saw online. Wanted to support this store directly, guess not :(

It was a pretty neat place. Every item in the store is solar powered and therefore changes color when sunlight hits it. Would have loved to see a better assortment of youth sized clothing as my daughter would have loved getting a shirt from there in her size but I would recommend to all who ask. Super friendly staff member, made me feel very welcome!

The sweetest guy runs the place! There's even a sign on the door with the hours listing his phone number in case they're closed when you get there! He'll come open it up for you! Such a cool place!

A really great idea for a store. How everything can change color from the sunlight. Anything you purchase, from hats to bracelets, from shirts to nail polish. Only draw back is it's a bit pricey. Probably typical upcharge for a tourist spot, but $30 for a T-Shirt or $22 for a necklace is a bit much..

Yep, this store is really fun. Everything changes color in the sun--even their bags! This is a chain with over 200 stores, mostly in the Caribbean and other tourist towns. And was started by a former Nasa employee. Because this store is basically science in action, creating a really fun way for people to relate to it, I think it's great for kids and adults alike.

I love this store and the owner. I had a wonderful experience shopping at Del Sol in Michigan. The owner is fantastic and friendly. We discussed his family and he made me feel at home. I am extremely grateful for our interaction. Thank you and take care. I purchased two fantastic products. Nail polish which changes from silver to ruby red and a t-skirt which says "Saugatuck Takes me Back" with a beach and flip flop scene. The scene is black and white and changes to brilliant colors in the sun. From Spangdahlem, Germany.

So. We had an issue in this store. My son dropped a soda. HE SHOULD NOT HAVE DONE THAT. WE SHOULD NOT HAVE LET HIM HAVE THE SODA IN THE STORE. However..... We apologized profusely over and over, the employee asked him (the 7 yr old) to leave the store and we did. Ten minutes later, the store employee CHASES after us holding a pair of shorts. Apparently some soda got on them and he wandered the little town looking for us to force us to pay for them. He made us pay for a fifty dollar pair of shorts, full price, and "comforted" us by "giving" us a bag to hold the shorts. I have an extremely hard time believing that no one ever spills or ruins anything in a retail store. CHASING PEOPLE DOWN THE STREET IS RIDICULOUS. If I had tried on a shirt and makeup had gotten on it, would he have chased me down? Deodorant, lipstick....?

Great store with a fun staff. Everything when exposed to the sun changes to a different color. I think the nail polish is the coolest. You can paint your nails silver and then go out into the sun and they are red! They have beach bags, shirts, pants, sunglasses, and jewelry. You can find stuff for anyone young or old in the store. Very unique kind of stuff for sure.
