I didn’t know we were playing hide and go seek with the employees! But boy did I have fun!!! Overall this dollar general location belongs in the hall of fame. The workers were class-A, thank you dollar general for the sacrifices you make for the good of the people.

We arrived at 8:50 pm to purchase pull ups. We had left a fabulous restaurant when we realized that we needed pull ups. An employee was at the door telling us that they were closed. They close at 9pm. We begged to be let in to make our purchase. She begrudgingly let us to make the purchase. So disappointed in the customer service that we received.

The employees at our store are the Best! They have been at the store for many years and are always there to help and go above and beyond to service their customers!

It says on the door and here open till 9pm every day. Well we got here at 8:32. Not open. So did a lot of other people, too. Sucked, drove out of our way for nothing.

I've been shopping there for years. Spent hundreds of dollars there. I am a local. I tried to buy a beer there a year ago and they wouldn't sell to me. No big deal. Wasn't mad. For the last year my card 'mysteriously' won't work there. Only there. The manager is very unfriendly...thinks I tried to pull on over on them. I'm 53 years old and more than happy to spend my money elsewhere. Place is kind of a dump anyways.

Um this was probably the most organized and clean dollar general I've ever been in. They had an amazing selection of mostly everything you could need! Loved it

Am I seriously writing a 5-star review for a Dollar General? You bet I am. Most Dollar Generals are messy, unorganized, and understaffed but this one is always tidy and the employees are really friendly. In a tiny town, you don't have many options for the essentials and Dollar General is there for you. The kiddo really wanted ice cream but being winter time all of the shops are closed and the grocery store closed at 8. So, determined to get her ice cream (and other items) we went to Dollar General. They came through with the pink ice cream the kiddo demanded and the cashier gave her a balloon! How thoughtful was that? This is a great store in a great town filled with great people. I know the song goes "You can get anything you want at Alice's Restaraunt", but the same goes for Dollar General of Saugatuck.
