The team at this location provided some of the best customer service I've had ever. Great attitude, helpful, friendly and engaging. Everything done with the upmost professionalism and a little fun to go along with it. Not sure if it was intended but we rented 2 vehicles and miraculously they were our company colors..coincidence? :)Can't recommend them enough. Thanks to Jessica and team for making my 20 minutes so memorable.

If it was possible to give a minus review, I would have done that, but since it’s not possible, I am going with the least possible.I've travelled around the world, have rented vehicles, in UK, France, Switzerland, Italy and USA, mostly from Enterprise, but from other companies too. Have met managers and staff, who were friendly, accommodating, polite, courteous, and with a flair for customer service, but this location's Manager was none of the above. She is not only impolite but discourteous to the point of being rude.I booked a vehicle, online, for 20 days, rental starting at 1:00 pm. I received a call one day earlier from the location to confirm about my program, which I did. On the day of booking, I arrived at 1:30 pm. I was told by the Manager that since I was half hour late, my rental had been cancelled as I was considered a ‘no-show’. I was surprised that no one had called me to confirm again, and I was told, it was a busy month, they had a long waiting and that it was unfair to other customers if someone didn’t show up to pick the car on time. Finally, the Manager did me a grand favor, by arranging what she said, was another car. Though I got a car, but cancellation of my booking for a mere half hour delay and Managers curt attitude, was unusual to say the least, and I didn’t appreciate it.My plans changed and I decided to return the vehicle after one week, three days. I went to the Enterprise location and checked with the Associate/Sales person, if it was worth-while to return the vehicle 3 days into the second week, or if charges would be the same if I returned the vehicle after keeping it for the whole second week. I was told that I would save about $191 if I returned the vehicle that day, that is, after keeping for one week 3 days, as compared to returning it after completing the whole two weeks. My credit card was charged the amount I was told, and I thought that was the end of it.After the long weekend on Aug 2, I was surprised to find out that my card had been charged another $191 and the invoice emailed to me showed that I had returned the vehicle after keeping it for whole two weeks. I took time off from my work, went to the location and tried to reason with the Manager. I explained to her that I had discussed with her staff before returning the vehicle, that I should be charged for only the time I kept the vehicle, which was one week, and three days, instead of the whole two weeks. But she wouldn’t understand any reasoning. The Associate/Sales person, who had dealt with me 4 days ago, was standing right besides the Manager. When I asked the Manager to ask her staff what had happened, she wouldn’t do that. And she rudely asked me to leave.On returning, I looked up the rental agreement, which clearly mentioned weekly, daily, and hourly rates, so I emailed the Manager, giving her the benefit of doubt and expecting that maybe a mistake had been made, which would be corrected. But she wouldn’t budge.In the end I called Enterprise Customer Service and lodged a complaint. I also emailed my complaint to Customer Service. Finally, after almost a week, I received a call from the Area Manager, who listened patiently to my complaint, agreed that I was right, refunded the extra charge, along with a small compensation for my troubles.It is people like Area Manager and Sales Associate who are keeping Enterprise going, while Managers like the one at Sault Ste Marie location, are trying their best to sink it.I’ve seen other complaints about customer service at this location, but my loyalty with Enterprise brought me here. However, not again, definitely not at SSM.

I picked up a rental from the airport and had to deal with this location because the airport location is only open limited hours. I spoke to a young girl initially who could not comprehend my request so she put me on hold and handed me off to store manager; Jessica.Basically i flew into Sault St Marie but flew back home from Sudbury, and they want to start $600 for a drop fee which i thought was ridiculous but given that its after Covid and they want to make money, it was understandable. I asked if the fee could be reduced as I travel often and book enterprise always. Said no because its too much for them to send a guy and pick it up, People travel often between Sault st Marie and Sudbury so I told her the car would probably come back with a customer. She did not care, just said they have limited inventory so unless it was booked like that, we cannot help. Terrible customer service overall.

It's a rental place that is stuck with whatever they can get during this automotive economic climate, so high expectations for the class of vehicles available go out the window LOLHusband went to pick up his rental and was presented with an unsuitable vehicle for his size. He turned around and simply said to the associate (albeit edited a bit), "No, that will not do at all," and was upgraded to a compact SUV for the same price.He had the car for a week and did not experience any issues, it also got great fuel economy whatever the model was (a Kia). It was a little funny that it had a media monitor, but no access to GPS, but thankfully he still had a unit from his trucking days to use. Also thankful a 12V outlet was in the car and in working order.The rates were very fair and the associates worked with him to get the best deal, so instead of picking up late Friday he opted to wait until the following Monday morning and saved hundreds of dollars. Another place around town did not make as much effort to get his business. I should also mention that the quoted price was identical to the price charged to cc the following week.So, for all of the above reasons I give this place 5 stars!

Went to get a rental car after my friend had an accident. They had lots of cars available and then when we told them what happened, all of a sudden, there were no cars available. Horrible service.

Not only did they not have a comparable vehicle for me - which was not really their fault the body shop said they were taking care of all of it for the days needed for rental, and i goes they didn't .. then Enterprise staff (in way less then 12hrs) 'didn't know' if I left something in the vehicle cause my son forgot to grab it and therefore took my 15$ on USD.
