“The first room they gave wasn't cleaned, so they put us in different room. Fridge didn't work but they brought us a new one. Breakfast was good with a wide variety. Excellent guest services.”
“Same price as all other motels (at least when i booked mine) and the best part was, you could walk right across the street to the soo locks park and viewing platform and then back to your room. Despite being so close to the locks once the doors were shut i never heard a ship horn despite being so close. It was amazing, also some great real traditonal waffle cone ice creams were a 2 min walk down the street!!”

“I'll start by saying I am hesitant to give this place the review they deserve because I don't want the secret to get out and they will be too busy for me to book a room from them in the future but here goes anyways.
In my opinion the Last Resort is the best place to stay in the Soo. The owner and his family are some of the nicest people you could ever imagine.
They are incredibly knowledgeable about anything Soo related that you could possibly ask them. The rooms are spotless and the baitshop has everything you need to go fishing if thats your thing too.”

“After an extremely unfortunate situation left us stranded at 9 p.m. without a place to stay, the Hampton Inn came to our rescue. The staff was absolutely incredible—especially the night desk attendant, who went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. His kindness and genuine concern for guests truly stood out and turned a stressful night into a positive experience.
On top of that, the hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The shower was hands-down the best I’ve ever had at any hotel—and I’ve stayed in quite a few! We were so grateful to find such a wonderful place and such caring staff when we needed it most. Highly recommend this Hampton Inn.”
