Every so often you find an unexpected gem. We were traveling across northern Michigan when our car started making very strange noises. It was very late in the afternoon and we had a long way yet to drive that day. We searched the area on Google for a repair dealer and found this one just off the road. When we called him, he had indicated that he was just closing up for the day soon and we were still ~1/2 hour away. He encouraged us to come anyway, which fortunately for us we did. When we got there, he identified the problem extremely quickly got us back on our road trip. the fact that he waited around for us was a notable characteristic when we met him. You can tell by his demeanor he’s a man of integrity. We were fortunate that we called him out of the several other places that were in the area. Thank you, Nick for getting us out of a jam!

Anytime I’ve needed a repair done, I’ve yet to get my vehicle back without said work being done and sometimes extra work in a slow manner. Prices are fair as well and customer service/feedback is exceptional.

Cannot put a price on the value of having a place to take your vehicle where everything is explained to you in detail. Such a busy shop, but still take the time to focus on exactly what you need. Knowledgeable, professional and great customer service!! Have had nothing but excellent results when working with MechaNicks!! Great experience all the way around!!

Regardless on how busy these guys are, I will always wait for their services. They are the best in town! For a small shop run with only 2 people, they do an amazing job! I'm comfortable leaving my car with them for however long it'll take. A day, a month, a year, doesn't matter. Thorough and informative, cheap and done properly, no other shop in town can do what these guys do! You guys are the best! They go above and beyond with diagnosis and most of the time, I'm charged too low for the about of work they do in my opinion. I'll gladly overpay for MechaNicks services!

Had me schedule a month ahead so he would have time to work on a truck, after two months of being there I was called and told there was only 4 hours of work put into it and they were asking for more time which I tried to approve but after three months of waiting I had to call twice and he lied saying it was in the shop and they were finally working on it, drove there the next day and it was still outside, still made me pay and would not give me an itemized bill(basically charged me for work that wasn't done). - the truck came back in worse condition and I was charged $254 plus tow trucksService: General repairs & maintenance

Nick and Aren are very customer service oriented. We were in Canada with a mechanical issue, but Canada was on holiday...no mechanics.
We called MechaNicks and they said, bring it in. They made us road-worthy for the time being and scheduled us for a Thursday fix. They recommended U.P. Tire for new tires, U.P. Tire recommended Performance Plus for Oil Change.
They also recommended campgrounds and the Casino as a place to stay.
Excellent service with excellent prices.
