I came up to Sault Ste. Marie to visit during some time off and was having issues with my truck, pulling to one side. I called on my way north and got an appointment scheduled for the following Monday. They quickly diagnosed the issue and order the parts to repair my truck so I could safely travel back south.

They scheduled me quickly, drop off was painless, they explained everything that was wrong with my vehicle and what it would take to get it in good working order. The gentleman on the phone answered all of my questions without making me feel dumb. My vehicle was done quickly and runs great now. Wonderful shop. I'll be back.

I had a great experience at Quality Automotive. My brake line rusted out last week and I needed it replaced so I Googled mechanics near my house. The receptionist was very polite and professional when I called to make the appointment. They got my car into the shop within a couple of days and called me about an hour later with a reasonable estimate and an honest and straightforward discussion of cost and options. They had my vehicle done the same day and my mechanic did an excellent job fixing my car and explaining what he did and why. Very polite, professional, and personable staff. I will definitely be returning should I have any car troubles down the road.

I don't write too many reviews but I felt I needed to because the service was just that good. I did some work on the front of my truck and I needed a wheel alignment. Took it there, they looked it over. Called me and we went over what I needed. Got it done. The tech even rode with me after because I heard a sound coming from the tire(my work, not theirs). Of course it quit as soon as he got in. lol But he assured me it all looked good. He even greased up my new parts, fixed my hanging rusted parking brake wire and was really nice. Icing on the cake is when your tech is not a jerk. Overall an easy 5/5.

if you have vehicle issues I do NOT recommend quality automotive.
First they had my jeep, it was overheating. They didnât fix/look at the thermostat which was the actual problem (thanks to an actual mechanic). What they did was shave some rust off of the bottom of a pipe under the jeep, and said thatâs what was causing it to overheat. I got my jeep to leave, and no more than half a mile down the road it was already overheating again.
My husband took his truck there, against our better judgment, and they did nothing. It hasnât been starting, but they claim it started just fine for them, so they didnât need to look any further.
Their actual wording on the paperwork was âno recommendationsâ. Real quality work they do..

I didn't have a good experience here. I brought my car in for a check engine light. I had the codes read at a local auto parts shop and brought in the paper in to Quality Automotive.They hooked my car up to a computer to have the codes read for themselves, then charged me $95 for that (never asked me if that was okay). Then told me they couldn't fix internal transmission issues. Told me only the dealership could fix it. So I left without my car fixed and out $100. Nice people, but I didn't get helped.
