This is a.great $5.00 and under store. I.just visited in mid July and was very impressed with their art supplies section; very good variety and seems cheaper than their competitors.

This place houses the rudest employees ever!!!!! They have rudely took it upon themselves to start checking out customers at self checkout making people uncomfortable!!!!! I will never shop at a five below simply because of this particular store

Staff was weird about the designated self check out lines, it was the first time ever at a five below they would not allow anyone to use the self scan lines and made a big line accumulate because of this

Not for black people. Went here to pick out some puzzles with my mother and a man started to stand beside me "on the phone." I noticed him and felt uncomfortable so i walked to the makeup, there he was again. I went to another section, there he was right beside me. At this point it's been about 20 minutes and I realized he hadn't said a single word on the phone. I told my mom so we went around in circles and this guy was in each section we went, holding the phone to his face, but saying a thing & not picking up a single item. I understand you need secret shoppers but to waste half an hour on someone that was looking at puzzles? Mind you, there were plenty of teens in the electics and makeup sections but coincidentall the only POC were myself and my mother. We asked the clerks if this guy worked for the store or if we should be concerned. The two girls looked at each other and laughed at my mom. She asked again "Does he work here, he's been making us uncomfortable" and they just shrugged and laughed even harder this time
