I'm shocked I haven't done a review for this place as I'm here quite a bit. This place has a good selection of beers but am almost unrivaled selection of bourbon and other spirits. Just about anything you can think of, they have. The staff are all very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Great experience every time I go in

new owners 2021. they treat customers like crap! we speak English, constant language barrier, they are constantly talking in their native language on speaker when we are trying to check out. female partner is rude. ! .

I don't do a ton of these so bare with me. I really wanted to give this place a lower score, but out of honesty I really can't. I want to start with the good. If you're just looking for a solid and close liquor store, this place will do just fine. Good selection of everything you might need or find at most liquor/ convenient stores. Where I want to specifically give them a low score is prices of their allocated whiskey, and even some that aren't so rare. I've been here multiple times after seeing nice bottles of whiskey they'd post online. Only to find they mark them up in price 100% and sometimes 3x the price of state minimum..... I'm Looking to help my fellow whiskey enthusiasts here. Just look up state minimum pricing for Michigan on a bottle you're interested in before going in there. If it's marked up a bit that's normal. But if it's double or triple the price, do everyone a favor and don't buy it. It's just modern day robbery. Some places have to mark up. But anything outrageous is just greed. To add salt to the wound. One of the employees there told me what they paid for a specific product after talking to him for a bit. He said he would give me 20$ off, and I'm assuming it was the owner that overheard. And said don't sell it to him!!! We'll sell it for what they had it listed for, and he made sure to say with tax as well, lol. It was a 160$ bottle they were selling for 300$.... With tax as he wanted me to hear lol. What a joke. Also for anyone wondering they don't seem to have any real specific knowledge about what good American whiskey is anyways. There are several other locations around there that sell allocated bottles for the correct price, and know what they're talking about. Out of respect for those businesses, I won't list them here. But if you're looking for them feel free to message me. I won't be coming back here, and I'll stick to the places that don't scam their well paying customers.

All of your adult beverage needs can be found here! Seriously. This place has everything when it comes to liquor! For a while I was on turned on and consuming Pisco sours. I had a friend who was born and raised in Peru and she turned me on to this amazing and unique drink. The base liquor is Pisco, hence the name. Pisco is a very hard to find liquor. A little history lesson: Pisco sour is an alcoholic cocktail of Peruvian origin that is typical of the cuisines from Peru. The drink's name comes from pisco, which is its base liquor, and the cocktail term sour, in reference to sour citrus juice and sweetener components. The Peruvian pisco sour uses Peruvian pisco as the base liquor and adds freshly squeezed lemon juice, simple syrup, ice, egg white, and Angostura bitters. A long hard hunt to find this specialty booze- but Phoenix Liquor carries it! I went to 5 party stores (that's what we call liquor stores in Michigan) before I found it here. And Pisco sours we're being made like it might be my last! A LOT of them! Lol Recently I was on the hunt for Crown Royal Peach. Went to 3 other stores before I finally found it here. Damn, this stuff is smooth! This liquor store has it all. Every kind of liquor you can think of or name. Domestic and craft beers, wine and mixers. Snacks, cold beverages and even party items. They have lottery, CBD, vaping and tobacco items. The store is super clean and very organized. The owners are amazing! Very welcoming and super appreciative of your business. Easy to find on Van Dyke, just south of 25 Mile Road. Parking lot is big and easy to get in and out of. This is my permanent store for all my adult beverage needs! Check them out! Highly recommend!

mike and Andy are really turning this place around. The remodeling is looking great. Phoenix is worth to stop by. Huge selection of liquor & wine and just overall great.
