So on February 29th I dropped off a card and today I check the tracking number, it says this Information AvailableSoonUSPS doesn't yet have a status update on this item shipped from the Post Office. Information is usually updated within the hour of your visit.Please check back soon. ITS MARCH 14TH NOW!! & haven’t gotten any further information and my friend still hasn’t received the card. Not to mention, this post office charges outrageous prices for mailing a little card.

Supposed to receive an Amazon package. Been home all day today with the lights on in the house and receive a notice at 6pm stating that they weren't able to deliver and there should be a note in the mailbox. No note. My curtains were open and no ONE came in the driveway nor to the door. So I'm guessing someone is being lazy and never even tried to deliver.................. HIRE NEW employees if the ones you have cant deliver packages when they are expected. Cant see amazon wanting to keep a contract if you cant deliver.

I'm in the kitchen window and hear car doors slamming. I see a dark gray Chevrolet Impala. I go to the living room and look out those windows. The impala is the mailman and hes leaving. I was like I wonder what he wanted. So I put on my coat and go look. Looking all around I finally see the box of VINYL that I ordered sitting on the ground in front of the garage door that we don't use. All he had to do was honk the horn and I would have came out!

The employees here are constantly putting mail in the wrong PO Boxes, I'm not sure why it's so difficult to get mail in the right boxes. Today, they put a package I ordered in the wrong box, the person who received my mail decided to keep it (eff you to that person btw) and there is no accountability for the post office employees. I'm now having to send all my mail to my mother in law's because I'm sick of my mail constantly being lost!

My Amazon package said, " Package was left inside the residence's mailbox on Jan. 27, 2019" I did not receive this package. I called the post office on Friday Feb. 1 to find out where my package could possibly be; I was told they will look into it. Later that afternoon I went into ask about my package. Victor the Postmaster told me whose house it went to, (I couldn't believe he told me; that is so unprofessional) Anyway, I called the Post Office this morning: they said, "The neighbor is not giving you back your package. You need to make a claim." Well now I know 3 things; my neighbor in Shepherd is a stealing thief, the Post office is unprofessional and the ratings for Shepherd Post Office are horrible.

If only one word could describe the sub-carriers of this Post Office it would be worthless. We receive packages fine with Fedex, UPS and others, but USPS at Shepherd is worthless. They sent Amazon a message unable to deliver because of access to our front door. We don't live in a gated community, the driveway is not blocked, no cars are in the way, so what's the deal. They didn't have a hard time dropping off one of my packages in the mailbox. I just see it as LAZY. So now I have to wait for my packages and it's the weekend and they are closed. I can't wait to share my complaint with the Post Master Generals Office..

Contrary to the previous reviews, I have never had a bad experience with the Shepherd post office. The people at the counter are very personable and they recognize me by name and possibly box number. They are everything a small town post office should be.

First of they have a sign that says only seeing eye dogs allowed, not pets. Well that sign should be taken down. Because any service dog is allowed. The sign is in violation of the ADA rules and regulations. They have hours posted but do not follow them. This office is rude.
