The burger was delicious. Good service. Bring cash to avoid the service fee.

And old fashioned "up north" bar with comfort food! It was a throw back to teens, I loved it!

The soup was warm and decent, but they forgot the salads included with the dinner for two people in our party. The fish tacos I got were room temp and off-tasting. Oh, and wrong change with the bill.

First time here; came for the walleye fish fry & we were so glad we did. Cute little place (around 10 tables) with a cozy supper-club like ambiance (loved the candles at each table). Highly suggest making a reservation due to their capacity & at 6:30 on a Friday night this place was hoppin’! Very attentive wait staff and not a very long wait for food. Nice variety of drinks and cocktails. They’re French fries - OH MY GOSH….best ever. The seasoning on them is fantastic; we were immediately obsessed with them. Highly recommend; we wouldn’t hesitate to go back again!

Bear Trap Inn, near Munising, MI: Our party was 2 women from Wisconsin and 1 local woman who showed us around town; she suggested the Bear Trap to us!Vegetarian options: We had a vegan in our party who you accidentally served this bear black pasty (see photo) instead of your green bear pasty, and she LOVED it. I think she might've been a little sad when our waitress replaced it (no charge) with the vegan green bear pasty. She spoke very highly of that first pasty and the brown gravy it came with for the rest of the day. She says it was "really good!"Dietary restrictions: I have no restrictions, but I visited with a local girl, Jodi, who brought us there because she's picky a.f., she says you have "good food."Parking: We got there on a Sunday for brunch, and we got a spot right up front near the door. Lots of parking even though it seemed busy.Kid-friendliness: I have no kids, but I saw booster seats, and they have a children's menu and child size clothing in the Bear Trap Gift Shop, where I found a women's plus-size super-soft fleece jacket to wear on a very chilly October afternoon; most sizes still in stock for the whole family on a busy Sunday! ...That said, there's lots of taxidermy critters in the front entry. This is a place called "Bear Trap" so DO NOT be offended, but kids might ask about it.Wheelchair accessibility: I have mild mobility issues, so thanks for not making me walk up any stairs.

While eating our amazing meal, we were able to see a group bring in a bear to be weighed in. What an amazing experience!
