First opened in 1997 in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The name “A Squared” is local slang for Ann Arbor. Later moved north between Whitmore Lake and Brighton, Michigan to South Lyon in 2002. Initial collection of books contained Architecture, Photography, Engineering and Mathematics. Now grown to an online book store inventory of over 50,000 books of general interest. Each year, thousands of books are delivered to various libraries and recycle centers in the area. In addition, a contribution of $12,000 is given to personal favorite charity, Doctors Without Borders. Always buying books of value and are willing to roam far and wide when appropriate.
