Tanglewood Golf Course, located in South Lyon, MI, is a Championship Golf Course that opened in 1991 and features 27 challenging holes designed by William Newcomb. Known for its beautiful, well-manicured greens and unique layout, it has been consistently ranked among the top public courses in Michigan. Golfers appreciate the course's quality, with fast greens and fairways, especially when dry. The staff is friendly and accommodating, enhancing the overall experience, and there are local beers available on tap, supporting nearby businesses. While the course offers a fair challenge, it is situated in a residential area, requiring players to be mindful of nearby homes. With a green fee of $70, Tanglewood Golf Course is considered a good value for money. Overall, Tanglewood Golf Course provides an enjoyable golfing experience, though players should be prepared for potential navigation challenges on the course.
One of my favorite courses. Staff is very helpful and friendly. The course is always in great shape.

Nice course, bags were loaded up by the staff on arrival. Conditions were perfect, newer cart paths and a well appointed cart. The only downfall is the $70 rate for fall golf. Similar courses to be had for $50ish on golf now.
