This animal hospital saved my dog Billy from his life-threatening urinary stones health problem. Billy has been absolutely renewed almost like the day we first brought him home back in 2018. Staff was very kind, honest, straightforward, and explanatory when Billy was going into his surgery. The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is due to pricing on all aspects of the procedure, my family had to shell out a couple thousand dollars for absolutely everything that was needed, from as little as visits to as massive as his surgery, it was a tremendous amount of money. Other than that, I can safely say it was a 8/10 in positive experience, Thank you for saving my dog Billy.

I've had the pleasure of entrusting my dogs to Dr Shahota and Dr Thomas for the past decade. Her and his brilliance shines through in every aspect of care, coupled with a genuine and empathetic approach. She not only tends to their physical health but also provides comforting support, especially during the loss of my beloved dog. Grateful for a decade of exceptional care and compassion.

I absolutely love this place and highly recommend to anyone looking for their pet services. The office is equipped with state of the art facilities and Dr. Sahota is simply amazing with pets.My dog was under lot of pain when I brought him in. She approached methodically with care and tried minimally invasive approach to eliminate the pain. It's a day and night difference with my dogs health ever since I came to her. She not only treated him professionally but also moved her appointments to prioritize his needs for timely care. She called me every step of the way keeping me apprised and sent reading material. She is very approachable. The staff is amazing too, very courteous, emphatic and pet loving. I made a switch and suggest you to do too!

I was actually referred to Dwokis by my own (not any longer)animal hospital that was nearby because they didn't have a veterinarian staffed there the day I needed my dog seen. I will be forever grateful to the young man behind the counter who offered the name. I walked into DWorkis Dog & Cat Hospital with my 3-year old Papi poo Quincy, who was not feeling well. He had been limping and lethargic the past few days.I was greeted with a warm smile, and an understanding ear from the office manger who just helping out at the front desk, that morning. After hearing my story about being referred from my own vet, she stated that she would make sure the doctor saw us before she went into surgery morning. A very sweet young lady stepped out just to love on Quincy. She told me that she had 3 dogs of her own, and held onto Quincy while I went to retrieve my tea out the car. She also extended her grooming services for Quincy. I thought that was nice. I will definitely be checking her out in the future. In a very short time Quincy was seen, examined, and X-rays were taken. The kind, and attentive doctor explained that he was suffering with Medial Luxating Patella, very common for his breed. I was given literature to read up on the condition and he was given medication that had him practically back to his normal active self the next day. Needless to say THIS facility with its friendly and caring staff is now my veterinarian. If you're looking for a responsive veterinarian services for your cat or dog, I highly recommend this establishment.

I have been going to Dworkis Dog and Cat Hospital since the late Dr. Dworkis opened his practice some 50 years ago! Today (and last week!) we saw Dr. Sahota who treats our dog as if it were her own! Special thanks to the staff, too who are so willing to find us an appointment - especially with our personal crazy schedules! Grateful for the professionalism, patience, reassurance, and (human) hand holding. Definitely recommend!

I am an east-sider whose vet had "semi-retired" several years ago and then fully retired about a year ago. The struggle to find a trustworthy, knowledgeable, simultaneously kind and no-nonsense vet is real! When my retriever had a random lump that nobody was overly concerned about suddenly ruptured, I surveyed friends and family for recommendations and fortunately someone mentioned Dworkis Dog & Cat Hospital. The office is clean and welcoming, the staff is friendly and top-notch, and Dr. Sahota is truly trustworthy, knowledgeable, and simultaneously kind and no-nonsense. Every step of the treatment was thoroughly explained and all my questions were answered. Pricing was in line with my now-retired vet's office, so I assume that pricing is fairly standardized. I felt the staff and the vet knew what they were doing and cared for my pet as if he was one of their own. Remember, they were dealing with my dog's medical issue as well as me being a worried and sometimes frazzled doggie dad.My dog and I have found our new vet.

NEED A GREAT VETERINARY OFFICE?Monday, I called to get my Sr dog in to be seen for a wellness check as he was also having a few issues. (We were a previous patient at West Warren Vet Hospital, but they merged with this Southfield clinic) The following day we arrived at 11am and were immediately weighed and taken to our room. A tech came in right away to get some info and then my nervous boy was examined by the nicest, knowledgeable veterinarian. She sat right down on the floor to check out my 80lb boy as she talked to me, making HIM feel more at ease with his exam. Within 10 minutes she had all of his ailments diagnosed and a treatment plan for now, as well as for the future. Afterwards, I was given a summary of her exam and that day's treatment plan with prices (which I revised to save some money.) Before leaving, they gave me an itemized list of his future treatment needed (with pricing) to take home. From the front staff and everyone else in the office, they were so friendly and easy to talk to. I felt very comfortable letting them know what I wanted and did not want that day as they were not pushy! If you want loving care for your furbaby, I would definitely take them here! My 20 min drive was WELL worth it! 10/10 recommend! ?

I am very particular consumer. If I consider services I seek from any establishment to less than acceptable I do not return. As Dworkis I have use this facility for the last approximately 11-12 yrs for not the health of my four legged family member, I have also boarded & groomed my pets several time without any problems. They have cared for 3 pets for me over the years, needless to say I am very pleased with Dworkis Dog & Cat Hospital, oh yeah did mention on top of all I have said they are affordable to boot.

Had a great experience at Dworkis. My dog was in for a follow-up for a serious problem that Dr. Sahota treated two weeks ago. She was very thorough in her examination and assessment. The treatment was successful and my little dog is now doing well. Wonderful receptionists, technician and vet!! Highly recommended.

Today was my first time here. My pup had an ear infection and I was quite worried. They took me in today and within hours of my call. The staff was phenominal. They treated Cora as if she was theirs. Cora loved them. Here is how I look at pricing, #1 I went there for an emergency ( for me because Cora is my girl) They treated her with an alergy shot and a couple of medications for her ears and her paws. I completely expected a 5-600 dollar vet bill which I would have thought was a great value and well worth it. The total bill was just over $200. Dworkis is now my new vet for Cora, as our old vet is a little over an hour away since I moved. Great job to the entire staff from the polite young lady that greeted us to the Dr's assistant and the Doctor. Thank you for taking care of Cora!

I love it here!! I had been to two vets before who were both unable to properly diagnose my dog, so I visited this hospital and the vet properly diagnosed and treated my dog, and now he’s back to his happy old self:) I’m a regular here now and their prices for vaccines and grooms are cheaper than any of my old places! Also shoutout to the staff for all their care because every time I bring Poco to board here he’s wagging his tail to greet all his friends?

A few days ago I had put my dog into this hotel. My dog had goopy eyes and needed treatment, but when I picked him up after two days, his eyes had worsened; the people there did not treat him despite having a two day frame, making it so I had to specifically request the vet to help him when I went to pick him up. Now, he has pink eye and missed two days of being treated. In addition to this, when I first put my dog into the hotel, all of his vaccines were up-to-date. Later, when I went to pick him up, the reception also said I had no overdue vaccines and only had to pay the boarding fee. However, right before I could take him home, they said that he apparently had three overdue vaccines that needed to be given. I was in a rush so I asked if I could schedule a different time, but they said no and wouldn’t let me go until my dog had gotten all his shots. Also, during his stay, they underfed my dog; I almost got the same amount of food back. Personally, I feel the people there do not care about any of the dogs they watch and I don’t recommend anyone sending their pets here.

Recommend NOT coming here and am reporting to BBB. We will not return again and are warning our friends and condo community off. Beware, elder scam of $600 involved. My 80-year-old mother lives on a fixed income, but loves animals. She recently rescued a 10-year-old Maltese mix from a good no-kill shelter (PAWS, Chicago). He has trauma around grooming, so he has to be sedated, which requires a vet visit. She brought he to Dworkis. As prep for his visit, the vet asked what shots he had already received. My mother couldn’t remember, but did tell them he was a recent adoption. Rather than calling PAWS, the shelter to check on shots, they insisted to my mother that he needed all possible vaccines. Total cost was $600. Review to be updates with that total list.Later, when she told me this I was flabbergasted that the vet or their staff had not simply called PAWS to check on his vaccines, which were all done by the shelter as part of their pre-adoption prep. They, like many shelters, are incredibly responsive. They scammed an 80-year-old out of HALFof her monthly income. Yes folks, that’s the kind of business this is.I’m so sorry she didn’t consult me because after reading these reviews I would have warned her off. I hope this helps prevent somebody else from a financial scam like this one.

We have returned with a new puppy after losing ours during COVID, rest well Moochie. Zeus is now being cared for here. The staff is friendly, helpful and efficient. Their pricing is affordable and just like us, our pets deserve the best care. The facility is very clean and sanitary and doesn't smell like animals. They also have grooming and boarding which is very convenient.
