Drove an hour to get an online order. Got there a 12:30pm. Lights were on but the gate was closed. Called a couple dozen times, waited almost an hour. No one came in, no one answered my call. There was a sign on the door that said they were going to be at a job fair in a few days. So as far as I can tell. No one works there and there is no one that you can call for any information. This place is a waste of time, go any where else! I'll try again Wednesday and give an update.

Called over 25 times. What's the point of having a phone number when you won't answer the phone? Do you think people have time or gas to be driving to the location, when you simply could have answer the phone. If you don't like your job, don't make us paying customers suffer for your negligence/unhappiness. Wish I could give no stars.

Store opens up at 11 AM. I decided to stop in around 1230 during my lunch break to grab something. Found a sign on the door that said at lunch 1226 to 1236 so I decided to wait until 1237 to go in to which I see they change the 3 to a four. Just find it funny that the employee worked less than two hours and already took a 30 minute break with nobody else covering and lock the doors. very big and inconvenience. Just sucks that they don’t have anybody else covering during periods of the day and are normally out of a lot of stock

Ordered a few items to be shipped. Was the only store to carry them. After a day they cancelled my order saying they were no longer available. How can I order things that are no longer available? I will not be depending on GameStop moving forward and I recommend others to avoid as well.

I was visiting from Toronto, ON. Opposed to the rest of the locations I had visited, this was the only retail place in the U.S that had good service and didn't treat me like a hassle.The young man working there wearing a Tri-gun Funko shirt was polite and super engaged in assisting me. Although our interests may have not aligned, he made sure to help me out as best as he could. If I plan a return to Detroit and I'm looking for POPs! I'm definitely stopping by.

Had a mishap with an 'order online, pickup in store' purchase (I never got the email from GameStop that it was ready). I tried calling the store several times over the course of several days with no answer but assumed they were busy with black Friday / cyber Monday weekend. Once I finally got ahold of them, they confirmed my order was ready. I went the next day - and they refused to honor the price I had originally purchased it for (GameStop automatically cancels orders that haven't been picked up in 7 days - which is totally understandable). I explained that it wasn't my fault for not receiving the email or not being able to get ahold of the store during that week, to which I was told "it's not my fault that you didn't come pick it up in time" by the employee.Fortunately, I was able to remedy the situation at a different GameStop location with no issue.Bottom line - I work in retail, I get that the holidays are overwhelming, but technological mishaps / emails, etc. are bound to happen - and instead of taking an opportunity to provide good customer service, this location made my shopping experience incredibly difficult 'just because'. It was incredibly unprofessional and honestly, just rude. Next time, I will just be shopping on Amazon :)

We went into a game stop to purchase a plushie and they didn’t have in stock so they sent us over to this location, we tried calling five times with no pickup, once we got there (on the website it says they close at 9:00pm) we arrived at 7:33pm and they said they were closed with four employees standing around and talking, today we called back four times and there was still no pickup, for a store with 4 star reviews I expected better.
