Fast service but the techs either smoked in my car or their clothes reeked of it. Really disappointed in the fact people would do that. Overly sensitive to smoke and now my car smells

I had a H*rtz rental car and the rear window couldn't close and the rental car company wouldn't swap it out for me unless I drove all the way back out to the airport, and I lucked into stopping at Gary's and asking them to look at it. They got the window closed and jury rigged it to stay shut until I returned the car. Didn't even charge me! Thanks guys I really appreciate it.

Troy really helped me out today!! Been watching countless videos about my Chrysler Seabring taking in water. Turns out I just needed some Coolant!! Troy was super knowledgeable and professional. I’d give Gary’s Auto more stars if I could!! I’m very blessed to have Gary’s Auto so close to me!! I will definitely be back!!

I do not remember everyone names but I was referred to this place by my roommates best friend. He said he takes his car no where else.. I have a 2010 Subaru and who ever owned it before me did not maintain or treat her right. I was pushing to the 200,000 mile mark and wanted the timing and water pump replace and wanted the exhaust checked because it’s been running funky… this car had a engine replacement and the people who replaced it did it cheap and used glue instead of screw(whatever is used to secure it) and the exhaust was to big for it and it was over heating and was melting stuff.. what these people did made no sense and Gary’s Auto was more concerned for my safety then what the final cost was,they worked with my budget.. My car is driving better than it has since I bought it a year ago and sounds better and the exhaust isn’t coming inside of it. I will be using them going forward for any major or minor repairs! Thank you all for your work you did and making me feel safe from start to finish that is what customer service should be and that’s how mechanics should handle complicated cars. A++

I’ve been taking my cars here for the last 10 years, since I moved to Southfield. This morning I go there to talk about some repairs I want done. I’m parked in the lot in a way that I can see the guys come in, as I was there a few minutes before they opened. Some dude who appeared to not have his front teeth walked up and said, “you can at least park in a spot.” Okay, I didn’t really appreciate his tone but I complied, no big deal. I then wait a few minutes and go inside. I greet a short, fat dude in the lobby with a smile and a good morning, he looks at me and just turns his head, he then went behind the counter, so clearly he worked there. My issue is this, don’t treat me with disdain and then expect me to spend my hard earned money with you. The woman behind the counter was pleasant and wrote out a work order. However, the butterball and the toothless dude rubbed me the wrong way to point where I left out thinking to myself I need a new mechanic. Needless to say, I took my vehicle elsewhere.
