Terrible, Unprofessional service. My Insurance Company scheduled & confirmed my appointment & they forgot or deleted it so WOULD NOT accept my auto for repairs. They were short staffed & were not accommodating me after their error. This was my 2nd time taking my car in without it making it to the mechanic.

I found the Gerber collision shop to be racist. They treated me badly from the day I took my car there and declined them permission to do my repairs. They then sent my insurance company some untrue information as to why I didn’t want the claim work by them. Terrible place of business. Asked to touch up a one in scratch on my front bumper the claimed it was not in the claim but they would have to take off the whole bumper. They lied and told my insurance company that I wanted them to put in my claim.

my experience at this collision shop has been phenominal!! Richard was very polite, very detailed in explanations and extremely courteous. HIGHLY recommend this collision shop for their outstanding quality of work, interaction and all-round service provided

No good, just waste of time. Got estimate approved from my insurance, the shop in mentioned gave estimate which also got approved by my insurance to install and buy the aftermarket bumper, yet the Garber collection aka head manager( I don't work for you) decided on putting and ordering another bumper out of what agreed upon in HIS own shop estimate.
So shady business and greedy, trying cutting corners buying cheaper bumper out side what the estimate stated.
Avoid!
MR manager: maybe learn to listen to understand not listen to respond, and yes you do definitely work for me, I pay the bill!!

Gerber Collision really impressed me, mainly because of Teresa's awesome customer service. I kept calling her about fixing my window, and she was super nice and understanding every time. Even though they were swamped, she made sure my truck was looked at within the same week. Teresa is definitely a star at Gerber. And when I went to their office, Mike was great too. He was really understanding and professional while checking out the damage to my truck. These guys are good at what they do!"

I wouldn't recommend anybody to go here IM A LOYAL JACK DEMMER CLIENT but because they were so booked out I let my insurance tell me to go here. Dropped it off at the appointment time & date and was told I'd recieve a call before work began well I waited and waited and nothing. Finally I call and they tell me work began and it should be done by end of week. I told them it shakes at 70+ so would need to be test drove on freeway but the didn't AT all but they told me they did and I know they didn't because I have a tracker in the van. Well I go there to pu the van upset they didn't test drive it and I told them I was on the way I'm doing the turn around and then they decided they finally wana test drive it so they do and of course I gotta wait there 30mins for something that shudda been done before I even left to pu the vehicle. Well I get the van it's fixed or seems to be at least they did the work but make sure to double check them as they lie like a mfer plus at jack demmer they clean your vehicle and this one they don't care to do nothing extra at all shoot they barley care to do the minimum so I guess I see why they do nothing extra. If you love it here that's great for you try Jack demmer on prospect and I bet you'll 1000% change your mind. I will NEVER return here I'd rather wait longer to get the work done then deal with this place at ALL

I had a fabulous experience with Gerber-Southfield this past month. After an unfortunate accident leaving my front end crunched up, Gerber turned a crappy situation into one of gratitude. My Chevy Traverse was returned to me quickly and looking better than new. Theresa, the office assistant, was wonderfully helpful in her coordination and communications with the insurance and rental companies. Everyone was friendly, and I even noticed extra efforts to return my car with a cleaner interior than how I had left it… with lots of dirt and dog hair, ha. Thank you for a quality job well done. I have been singing your praises for the past month. Truly grateful for your professionalism, respect of my time in having my vehicle back to me quickly, and for the thorough repairs, despite issues out of your control -being short staffed and dealing with supply chain issues. True customer service!

I'm so surprised at the bad reviews for this Gerber location because I had such a great experience. My car was hit in a parking lot and had damage to the front bumper and tire rim. I took it to this location for the insurance quote and for the repair, and it was such an easy process.Gerber handled everything from scheduling the service, ordering all of the parts, contacting me throughout the process, and even dropped my rental car off for me when I picked up my vehicle. The person's insurance company sent out someone to assess the damage and make sure the quote for the work that was given to me by Gerber was a fair price. The auditor actually said that he would charge more for the services and ended up requesting additional money from the insurance company for the repairs. So I know that it was a great and fair price even though going through insurance.Everyone is extremely friendly too. They were so easy to work with and made a really crappy situation better. I was not looking forward to getting everything repaired, but they really made it a positive experience. I would recommend them to anyone that needs body work on their car!
