My daughter held my son in laws 40th Birthday party there and it was amazing. The staff was friendly, professional and the food and drinks were exceptional. I would definitely recommend this venue for any parties or get togethers you may have plans for in the future.

Great Lakes Culinary Center is the best event and wedding venue I've ever experienced. The venue space is beautiful, modern-industrial, and welcoming. It was everything I hoped for, including the fact that you can get so much bundled into the venue's package, and their rates for all these vendors were reasonable and fantastic quality. We bundled the venue, bar, catering, cake, and chair and linen rentals. I honestly couldn't believe how lucky we were! Reva Constantine's catering and baking was phenomenal. All of our guests are still talking about the venue, food, and cake weeks later. We had about 75 guests and our cake for 100 people was completely gone.The staff was professional, efficient, and polite. The Director of Operations is on top of everything, patient, and professional. As a bride planning a wedding in 7 months basically on my own, Great Lakes Culinary Center was truly a blessing to me, and to my now husband and my parents who funded a majority of the wedding. We had looked at other venues in southeast Michigan/Oakland and Wayne County, and those venues could not beat the quality of our wedding or the prices.I will forever recommend Great Lakes Culinary Center to everyone I know who's getting married and those who have children getting married. Just absolutely phenomenal!

I have never written a review before, but I felt compelled to do so for Great Lakes Culinary Center. It was an excellent choice for our daughter's wedding venue. The atmosphere was wonderful, the staff was courteous and professional, the food was delicious and the wedding cake was fantastic. Thank you for helping make it a beautiful day for our family.

Wow!! Search no further for your venue. You’ve found it. We had our wedding at the GLCC and it was the best decision! The venue is gorgeous, the food is phenomenal, and the people who work there are truly the best. Everyone was so kind and wonderful. Cassy is fantastic and made planning the wedding a great experience. I very highly recommend the GLCC!!!

As a wedding vendor I had the privilege working at the Great Lakes Culinary Center this spring. Love the venue, super friendly staffs and accommodating. Extra bonus on-site outdoor ceremony with indoor reception and PLUS bridal suite to get ready. Such a luxury environment.

Just had our wedding at GLCC and everything was beyond excellent. Cassy and Ginina were awesome to work with and super helpful, the food was incredible, and the venue- inside and outside- was gorgeous. They made our day PERFECT!

Very nice place with a romantic vibe if you're in need to find something with wonderful ambiance. Picturesque for any formal situation; wedding, resorption, birthday, bar mitzvah, bot mitzvah or anything else. Staff is amazing.

I hosted my 80th birthday party at Great Lakes Culi are Center. They more than met my expectations in the table setup for my colors, and everyone's palate experienced a savory delight from the delicious food and dessert.All of the staff were exemplary with service and courtesy to me and all my guest. Some guest are planning for future events also . Thank you Great Lakes Culinary Center.

If you're looking for a great atmosphere and great food, this is the place. My party guests raved the most about these two things. From the event servers to the bartenders, all were friendly and helpful. I would have given 5 stars except there was some confusion on use of the TVs. Had a beautiful photo slideshow made and was only able to play it on one TV. You definitely need both in the main dining area for everyone to see. The Director and Coordinator were on two different pages about this request.Then there was the greeting. All went well and I was very pleased throughout the whole planning process. I live out of state so didn't get a chance to meet the event Coordinator and Director in person until 2 days before my 50th birthday party. The Coordinator took me to the office to meet the Director, per my request, because I was excited to meet her. I had worked with her the most throughout the year. Unfortunately, I did not get the greeting I expected which was some enthusiasm and a smile. Especially after all the money I spent, and just being a client in general.
