This bank in general is trash. I was lied to about when funds from a cashiers check from huntingtons to huntingtons would be available which I wouldn't have done it that way if provided the correct information. Plus was not told there were other faster options when I asked. Then was lied to again and kept on hold by several customer service people and a supervisor. Then called the fraud prevention office where they told me to call back in the morning and they should be able to help me out just to get the original timeline I was told only to call back again for them to say there was nothing they can do. This bank sucks wasted so much of my time lied to me multiple times. I will be closing my account immediately and going elsewhere. I'm going to find their closest competitor and go to them out of spite. I hope this bank goes put of business

Spoke with the manager on the phone in regard to a random hold placed on my account. She was rude, offered no assistance in any situation and told me to go to another bank. This is the second Huntington employee that referred me to another bank. Will be closing account and going to Chase.

I needed to cash a Huntington issued check without having an account of my own with them. They wouldn't cash it without a second form of id on top of my driver's license. Initially they didn't seem to know what was acceptable, only that my insurance card, comerica debit card, car insurance, and aaa card were not acceptable. I understand that policy is policy, however on their own website it states that all that is necessary is an id and a fee. If it actually is a policy (somehow more strict than the sos) then please make that clear on your website.

Horrible customer service no manger on site to help locked me out of my account AFTER providing documentation requested also they have a rep Jennifer Tato who was extremely rude and made me feel like I was a thief with money I DEPOSITED into my account I have deposited thousands with this bank to be treated horribly I will never trust Huntington again I will be returning to chase my fault for thinking the grass would be greener

I was hesitant to come to the12 mile ranch because of other negative reviews. I am so glad I took a chance! Alyssa(sp) was fabulous! She was pleasant, polite, personable and efficient. Thanks Alyssa! All of the staff the I came in contact with were courteous. They had 3 tellers working and I waited maybe 2 minutes in line. I will be back if needed.

Safe Deposit Hassle. I tried to get into my box, and they said they need a Probate Court Order (it was in a late relative's name.) I'm almost Positive it was a joint tenant account with survivorship rights. I didn't run into Any of this with my inherited deposit box at my Other bank.

I actually see why these reviews are so low. I wish I would have viewed this site prior to me wasting my time.Last week, I was at this Huntington location (12 mile, Southfield, MI) to open a business account. During my visit, the Branch Manager was assisting someone so, I was asked to leave my contact information with the teller. I did just that. The teller guaranteed me that he would be contacting me before the end of the day.Well, today is Tuesday, February 28th and I'm still waiting. I guess it's safe to assume that I won't receive a callback. At this point I'm moving forward with another bank. I just stopped by to share this with those who might be interested in banking at this location. My words of advise is DON'T DO IT. You'll be wasting your time .

This branch has the worst customer service. Anytime I’ve walked into this branch I was faced with disrespect, arguments, and an inability to help. It’s as if they exist to give their customers a hard time and find ways to prevent them from their own money. This has happened multiple times and I’m not sure why they make it so difficult to bank with them. Many other branches are better but this one needs severe improvements. Whomever manages this branch should be ashamed.
