About Gesher Human Services
Gesher Human Services is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping people across metro Detroit lead more stable and fulfilling lives through career development, behavioral health, and residential services that strengthen our community by strengthening the individual. Uniting two of Detroit’s most influential Jewish human services agencies, JVS Human Services and Kadima, Gesher brings over 110 years of combined experience facilitating equitable employment opportunities and better mental health outcomes for local residents.

Looking at the Fox2 piece on Gesher Human Services, I thought what a great resource. Then my takeaway is why put Phyllis Scripsick on as the spokesperson? Her right eye is completely covered by her hair. Very unprofessional in my mind. Why?
