I don't think I could recommend Greenfield Animal Hospital enough! From the front desk to the doctors, everyone is kind and informative. They recognize every pet that walks through the door and their quirks! We have an anxious 6.5 year old cat and a 1 year old dog; both have had wonderful experiences and my cat has never been more calm at the vet! Truly worth every penny and will continue to take any and all future pets to Greenfield!

We have taken our dog Jasmine here since she was born. The staff are all super friendly and knowledgeable. They also have very reasonable pricing. Recently Jasmine had an emergency when they were closed so we had to take her to an urgent care. The other place did surgery to remove an intestinal blockage on her. After surgery they left the warming blanket on her so long it gave her extensive burns down both sides of her body. We took her to Greenfield and Dr Hood did surgery to repair what the other place did. He removed the dead tissue and burnt skin and put over 100 sutures in her. It was a long and difficult surgery but he did a phenomenal job and she healed perfectly. They are AMAZING there and i will never again trust anywhere else with my Jasmine. I cannot recommend them highly enough!!

Would give five stars in a heart beat I'm just stingy with costs (as compared to Vetco). My one pup has mad anxiety issues, and both the vet techs and Dr. Hood made me feel so at ease while he was inside. Also, accidentally showed up an hour early and they took us an hour early, which I really appreciated them being so accommodating. Am SO happy I found a vet that we love and can happily recommend this to anyone, especially with somewhat temperamental pups!

Simply one of the best veterinary hospitals I've experienced. Friendly administrative staff, super friendly technicians, and same goes for the vet docs as well. Have had no issues with their pricing for our two dogs and cat.

The vets and technicians were very gentle and kind with my kitten. They were very sweet with him and offered me helpful tips as a cat mom.

Have been going here since the 70's with some time off in between. Had to have my dog put to sleep today and the compassion that was shown to us by Dr Jachman , Dr Shencopp and Chelsea was awesome. Everyone there is so wonderful and I would highly recommend them.

Not a day goes by that I don't think of my dog Finnigan. He was an outstanding dog, and it pains me that he suffered as long as he did due to the treatment he received at Greenfield. Finnigan had been suffering from incontinence and diarrhea for months. Of course all the normal things were done- bloodwork, xrays, medicine. He had the strange additional symptom of not being able to lift his tail, which I repeatedly mentioned and questioned. A young (under 4 yr old) large breed GSD, he continued to drop weight and nothing seemed to work - in fact, things just got worse. Timeline: 3/24/17 Dr. Jachman ruled out 'neuro issues' for Finnigan. We continued running tests and providing medicine. 7/2017 Finnigan had not improved and was 119lbs. 8/2017 Finnigan's weight dropped to 109. No improvement. 10/2017 Finnigan's weight dropped to 104. 11/14/2017 Finnigan's weight dropped to 92. A 12% decrease in one month. Also has a distended bladder and needed to be catheterized. I express extreme concern and ask for a referral to OVRS. Dr. Jachman states "I don't think you have to rush into an appointment with a specialist". 11/17/2017 More bloodwork. No improvement in symptoms. 11/20/2017 I woke Finnigan was vomiting, had severe diarrhea, glossy eyes and drooling at the mouth. I rushed him to MSU Emergency where he was admitted 2 minutes after my arrival. 11/22/2017 Finnigan was diagnosed with a neurological issue that required Neurology/Decompressive surgery of the L7 vertebrae near the tail. The specialist surgery was performed- a week after I was told by Dr. Jachman that I didn't need to see a specialist. Incontinence and a limp tail were all symptomatic of this issue. 12/20/2017 Finnigan was euthanized. He was so far gone and so much damage had been done to his poor body by the time we got help that there was no saving him. He was 4 years old. I'm more than just disappointed that my sweet, young dog is gone. I'm incredibly disappointed with the way his health & my concerns were treated. Had he seen a specialist early on, we may have stood a fighting chance. Why was there such a reluctance to set up a referral to a specialist, both for neurology and internal medicine? Why decline to provide a referral for an IBS biopsy? Why was his inability to lift his tail for nearly a year dismissed as non-neurological? Why, after admitting his urination wasn't normal and noting a distended bladder, was the recommendation to wait for 2 more weeks of monitoring him? Why did no one call to even check on him during the time that it became clear his health was declining? Finnigan was well treated during acute issues and boarding, but when faced with something chronic and progressive, Greenfield really failed. In retrospect, it's clear that the incontinence we were treating was a symptom of something far worse, which Greenfield failed to identify for nearly a year. I will have to live with the regret that despite my advocacy, Greenfield failed to provide the referrals that he desperately need. I'm writing this in memory of my poor boy, and as a warning to other pet parents: trust your gut. And if ANY vet refuses to give you a referral or treats you like you're 'overly concerned' or 'panicked', find a new vet.

We've taken our 3 cats here for the past few years and they are a fantastic place. Roomy, clean, caring, knowledgeable. Had to put our queen diva, Ember, down a couple years ago and they made the whole experience better. So attentive, and never rushed, I had time to properly say goodbye, plus they sent me her footprint in a ceramic piece after. So sweet. As long as I'm in Metro Detroit, I will always take my animals here.

I am a first time puppy mommy. The staff loved on my new bundle of joy, even more than I had hoped. All the staff were amazing. Princess had her first cheese and first shot and they did all the services with ease. And called back with decal results within 24 hours.

This is an excellent spot. The staff and doctors all treated me as a person, not just someone to rush out the door so they could get another patient in the room. It actually took me a little off guard because I'm so used to typical American Business. ( I should note that I took my dog in, and in fact I was not the patient.) Speaking of which, my dog took incredibly ball to the staff, and this is not always been the case at other clinics I've been to. I live pretty close, and I'm thinking I might take my dog for walks over there so he can spend more time and get used to the place. All in all, I felt very welcome and recommend this place to anyone who might ask.

We recently relocated to Greenfield Animal Hospital with the arrival of a new puppy and we had a great first appointment. They obviously care a great deal about their clients and their furry family. It feels like a little animal loving community in here. Also, the prices are reasonable and we didn't feel a lot of the up-sell pressure that I have grown accustomed to with other practices. I think we have made a good choice joining the Greenfield Animal Hospital Community. Cheers to the whole team!
