Highly don’t recommend this they have no control over the kids a lot of kids fighting and they care about is money if you’re kid doesn’t make money for them then there worthless at this point because that’s all they care about They embarrass your children with that stupid clip chart and they yell at your child in-front of the whole class if they do something wrong or don’t understand they cuss at your children this school is horrible if I didn’t have to rate to write a review they would have zero stars and all of they staff are leaving them

DO NOT send your child/children to this school! Your child will learn NOTHING and there is an issue with bullying and other unpleasant child behavior that does not get appropriately addressed. Also, the behavior of alot of the staff (teachers/counselors/principals) are just as egregious and rude. They defend one another instead of standing for the children when any issue arrises. They come to requested conferences in groups with nasty disrespectful attitudes like mean girls from high school and will NOT care about anything your talking about. There is a reason why security is so tight at the front door because the staff definitely need it!

As a former student of Pace who has been through K-8 this school has totally went down hill. When I was in kindergarten Mr. Perry was the principal, he made going to this school fun. There were field days, ice cream trucks, snow cone trucks, and the zoo use to bring animals such as snakes and turtles to the school on special days towards the end of the school year. Before Mrs.Whitaker was the assistant principal, but when she became the principal the school fell from there. Personally I don’t have a problem with Mrs. Whitaker however, she’s not a very great principal. She let the assistant principals run the school more than she does such as Ms. Hills, the new assistant principal currently. Ms. Hills is very disrespectful and doesn’t care about others. She treat parents and staff like children and make school for the students miserable. She cares more about children bringing their phones more than their safety during the covid-19 pandemic. On the first day of school there was already a covid case. Ms. Hills always thinks that she can keep students phones and personal belongs for the entire school year. I don’t know about y’all but if I’m paying a phone bill monthly that’s not going to work especially during the pandemic. Of course this school has or had some great teachers who I feel should be recognized such as: Mrs. Dunn, Mrs. Murray, Mrs. Hale, Ms. Heath, Ms.Glenn, Mrs. Floros, Ms. Alanis, and possibly more I could be forgetting. Teachers or staff I feel were horrible or disrespectful are: Ms. Hills, Ms. Pinkston, Mr. LeSure, Ms. White, Ms. Colozo Ms. Papa, and Ms. Pryor to name a few. These teachers and staff either disrespect the students or parents. Ms. Pinkston for example prevents kids from using the restroom for any reason including girls on the mistrial cycles. Parents were revoked from entering the school when I was in 4th-5th grade after parents were being angered by the staff notably Mrs. Smith. Dismissal has also became an issue lately and school has become longer, starting earlier and ending later usually around 3:30. This school will make parents want to smack these teachers. Also this school think they slick deleting my previous comment smh.

I wouldn’t recommend this school AT ALL. This school has bugs and terrible staff. 8th grade has went through three whole ELA teachers in the last two semesters. Also I understand that school go virtual for a whole week but this school has been virtual since January 3rd.

You have to rate in order to review or else I would not give one. I wanted to transfer my child to Pace Academy and in the beginning speaking with Ms. Tanner (who gave the impression that my child would be accepted) the concerns about my child. However, I gave all information and then nothing. No response; not even your child is not considered for an interview or we do not have room; nothing. Nothing was communicated. I called a week later just to see and spoke with Ms. Tanner again and was told that she will be sending the file right up to BIS and she will call me back. Next day is here and nothing. Dealing with the situation I was in I was able to get my child into Faxon Academy. Now I do not know the outcome on if this school is a good fit for my child, BUT it only took two days to get my child started. Reading other reviews and the fact that my eldest child went to Pace Academy years ago they went down drastically…and I see they pick and choose the type of children they want to deal with which is very bias in my opinion. I guess a child with an IEP is not good enough for their school.

Ms. Jones and Mr. LeSure are VERY RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL!!!! Mr. LeSure YELLED instead of taking to me, and he told me I was at home, so how do I know what happened in the classroom! Well, he wasn't in the classroom either, but he listen to the lying sub, instead of the entire class. And when I asked him who was his supervisor, he stated that he was the principal, which he is the Intern Principal. I wish my grandchild NEVER went to that school. And lets not forget the sub teachers, they are CLUELESS,. Students be in the classrooms fighting and the sub will just sit there!!!

This school initially refused to do an IEP for my son as he was transferring there and going through his initial process of diagnosing ADHD. They accepted his siblings and denied him from attending. His previous school said that’s illegal and called the board on Pace. Then I received a phone call stating they will do it. It’s sad they didn’t want to do the work necessary with helping my son so he can focus on learning with attention deficit.

Worst school ever. The teachers at this school are rude and disrespectful. Ever since the old principal left, things have gotten out ofcontrol. The new principal doesn't handle bullying right and your child's tutor won't care if your child fails, the teachers always put your child as the center of attention by yelling at them for no reason and they mostly do it to the good students. I highly recommend that you don't bring your child to this school.

Horrible school!!! They do not handle bullying good at all. This school has went downhill the last 3 years. Teachers even get out of line and disrespectful to kids and parents. Theres a reason there is a security desk at door. This school makes you want to be at the door waiting to smack somebody!
