About The Salvation Army Family Store & Donation Center
The Salvation Army Family Store & Donation Center is a large, clean, and well-organized location in the Oak Park area. It receives lots of goods, from clothes and furniture to dishes and kitchen stuff. The staff is great and the people are great, with good prices and daily specials for those on a budget. While some items are a bit overpriced and you have to go digging through unsorted clothes, many find good buys. It is an active donation center, accepting donations Tuesday through Saturday from 10am to 2pm, which many find convenient.
Always a pleasant experience. Every employee is pleasant, helpful and efficient. Prices are great. Came home with alot more than I planned on. Very organized and easy to find sizes and styles

If I am right, place opens for donations on 10am Saturdays. If you plan to donate I would call ahead of time to confirm drop-off hours.

I luv this little hidden gem, very clean and organized. Perfect place to kill some time and find some nice things. Plus the staff is very nice. If you're a thrifter this definitely should be on your list of spots to visit
