EDIT AND APOLOGY TO AUTO VALUE STORE THIS IS A REVIEW FOR THE BUSINESS CONNECTED TO THE PARTS STORE CLASSIC AUTO REPAIR
I wish i could use a negative star rating Ive never ever been treated more poorly than this place treated me yesterday by not only the mechanic but the lady in their office as well i dropped my vehicle off a week and a half ago for some repairs while i was out of town for five days there was a pretty long list of things i asked them to check and let me know a cost on including my air conditioning that WORKED but only blew cold air when driving not when stopped and running and a tune up and two lights needed to be changed out a license plate light and side marker light i had some issues with warning lights going off when i would start driving for my traction control and things related to that come to find out it was a speed sensor that had been accidentally cut or something when someone replaced a front shock but they called my husband and gave them a quote of $4.000 dollars for everything which it’s a 2009 with over 200 thousand miles it’s not worth that so we chose the air conditioning and tune up and speed sensor along with the two bulbs replacing and they did a oil change for some reason i still had two thousand miles before one was due but okay fine they wanted $1200 bucks we decided to go ahead with the work but when it was done and they called and we were still out of town, we wanted to pay with a card over the phone. They wanted a 2.1% charge for the convenience of over the phone payment which still didn’t complain. Business is business. I understand that and I was ecstatic with the understanding. My AC was working and all that stuff would’ve been fixed when I got home. It’s my only transportation to and from work, the first time I get into my car on my way to work the other day it’s hot out. I go to turn my air conditioning on it. Flashes and turn right back off. It won’t even turn on now. My husband said we have to get back there right away. On my way home. My check engine light started flashing. My car started running extremely rough to the point where I was afraid I wouldn’t even even make it home. My husband called auto value explain the situation and they said OK bring it back in and we’ll take care of it and figure it out for you and let you know what’s up I was under the impression that there was something wrong with the AC that happened and they did tell my husband that they weren’t sure if there was an actual leak so they ran blue dye through it so if it stops blowing cold air again soon it’s probably a leak but never said it would not turn on as if it’s been disconnected because that’s what it looks like not turning on the light flashes and off again right away They decided to call me after looking at it yesterday morning with a quote for yet another $540.00 to fix my air conditioning and now say my ignition coil pack is cause for rough running all of a sudden and quoted me almost three hundred more dollars for that which is one coil pack not the whole six.. lol I ran it for codes the day before bringing it back to them and only a wheel sensor code popped up and it’s absolutely never ran rough like that ever before they did the tune up or whatever else they did so to my amazement when she initially called yesterday morning I was floored and obviously had a few qualifying questions before just handing over almost another thousand dollars I really don’t have right now to be honest it would have put me in a not so great spot for sure but I do need transportation obviously to get to work and back for sure I just said well why won’t my my a/c work at all now it did when we brought it to you in the beginning just blew warm air when stopped she said she’d call me back all day no call so I called and a guy called me a liar and horrible threatening names etc and i tried calling back because he hung up on me but they wouldn’t answer my call

Absolutely amazing staff! My family was traveling and our car broke a belt just outside of Sparta. Thankfully, these guys were open, had the part we needed and even loaned my husband tools so he could work on our Land Rover in the parking lot. We are incredibly thankful for their kindness and generosity!

Bought a 1973 vw generator with a 1 year warranty sold me wrong one. Even with a warranty they would not take it back. All i wanted Was a swap with the correct unit. Was told from corperate that they would not take it Back because it got rained on during installation and that because my vw is on a different bidy it doesn't count as a vehicle. Lame excuse to save a few dollars. I am not happy with the product and expertise in getting me the correct unit. . I guess that they dont value their oath to stand by values as well as their experience.. As a business owner standing by your professionalism and work is your reputation. You lost not only a life long customer but in my book you are the bottom end of the parts chain all over a 70.00 part.
