We absolutely loved our expertience with Barefoot Weddings!! I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants an intimate wedding ceremony outdoors in west Michigan! They were excellent at collecting all the details and guiding us through the planning process for a beach wedding in our hometown in Grand Haven. (Including getting permits which we weren't aware of.) They were knowledgeable about the area and ready for anything including rain right before and right after our wedding.
The photos were incredible! Melissa captured every moment and emotion perfectly! Josh was an engaging officiant and led us through the ceremony with confidence. (Even when our dog stole the show!)

My Barefoot Wedding coordinated our ceremony in Grand Haven. They. Are. The. Best. Extremely experienced, competent staff who want to make your special day perfect. Everytime we had a meeting with them, they had more answers than we had questions. Fast, professional, and friendly. Definitely use them for your beach wedding!

They were WONDERFUL for my wedding just a couple days ago!! They are super quick on responses and very easy to get ahold of through the whole process, from the moment you book with them!! They are 200% on top of everything, no matter what happens, super flexible, and accommodating to anything you may want/need!! My wedding went better than I ever could have imagined thanks to this company. On top of this, packages they offer will save you SO much money and stress!! In my opinion, their services are worth 10X more than they charge. They do the coordination, set-up, tear-down, rehearsal, music, officiant, signing of marriage license, professional photography, and so much more!! All for less than the price of one general photographer. If you want an stress-free, gorgeous and PERFECT wedding, on a budget, on the beach with your feet in the sand… this is the place!!!! 🩵

Melissa and Josh are amazing! They were great with communication and the day of made everything so clear and less stressful. It was so nice to not have to worry about music or setup and our flowers were perfect! So many aspects of the ceremony are included in their packages that I saved a lot of time planning. It was well worth it to work with them and my beach wedding turned out just as beautiful as I had hoped for!

Josh and Melissa were so easy to work with and took care of absolutely everything. We had to change locations due to the weather and they were so flexible and everything still came together so well! They are both so kind and Melissa is a great hype girl when photographing.

I couldn’t be happier with the way our wedding turned out thanks to my barefoot wedding. Melissa and Josh were awesome to work with, from our first meeting, through the big day at central park in grand haven. They made everything so easy and seamless, and are both the nicest people too. Our day was perfect, and our photos gorgeous. I’d recommend them to anyone looking for a beach or park wedding!

I had a great experience with this company and would easily recommend them to brides like me who want a smaller ceremony and dream of getting married on the beach. We got married in South Haven, MI in August '23 with a guest count of 20. I worked the most with Melissa, and she always responded to my emails very timely. The company takes care of everything you need for your ceremony - the package includes an officiant, music of your choice, and photography. On top of that, they do all of the setup. I didn't have to worry about planning my ceremony at all, and I thought it was very affordable. My husband was very nervous, and he said Melissa and Josh both noticed and worked with him before the event to help calm his nerves. Melissa took our photos and was incredible at giving instructions. We loved all of our photos, and it was easy to view and download them.

Wow! I’m beyond happy that we found them and had an all inclusive wedding on the beach. It was everything I wanted. Barefoot wedding coordinators make the ceremony SO EASY to plan and prepare for. They handle everything. Hiring them meant I only had to show up with my groom to be married. Everything was already done and ready for us when we arrived at the beach.The set up exceeded my expectations. Soooo beautiful. The ceremony is lovely too. They have a nice outline.We are thrilled with the photography provided too!

Christi is amazing!! She put together a beatiful scene for our wedding.She made our day as stress free as possible 10/10. She was the best.
