Please beware! When you go in for a routine eye exam they will bill you for the exam and a separate medical procedure. The medical procedure is for a cataract exam. They dont tell you that it’s two separate things until you get the bill. Then you find out vision insurance doesn’t cover it.
Very dishonest practice and a way for the doctor to make more money as the full amount has to be paid because if insurance doesn’t cover it there is no provider discount.

I recieved fast service and everybody was very nice. Also, I found very nice glasses for a good price. Insurance for the glassses is cheap too. Im very happy with Shoreline Vision.

I had cataract surgery in November 2024 with an eye surgeon from Shoreline. The lens inserts were corrected for distance.
I was assigned Dr. Gilmore, optometrist for new glasses. We have tried two different pair. The prescriptions for both pair were not correct for distance or reading. I followed up with two additional visits. At first he was saying the brain needs time to adjust. So I have given it time. I cannot read with the glasses he provided and distance isn’t correct either.
I retrieved a pair of glasses I had from 10 years ago, different provider. I can read fairly well with the old glasses. This fourth, last and final visit and exam.
I could only read halfway down the card with the list of numbers with the new glasses. I put my old glasses on and could read the last line. When I asked him about it, he said “sometimes these things happen and we can’t explain why”.
I asked him if he could use the script for reading from my old glasses to at least get the script close to what it should be. He said, no, with progressive lenses it might be difficult to determine “the marks”.”
So I still need a corrected pair of glasses since the cataract surgery.
And now I am doubtful if the script for the distance lens inserts was correct. I can’t really say my distance vision is better since the surgery.
I now need to find an optometrist who knows what he is doing. I am very disappointed.☹️

Horrible service, had to return 4 times to adjust frames that left marks on my nose, even breaking the skin. Asked for a new frame and initially said no, when returned, they broke the nose piece so gave me a cheap plastic child’s frame. Overpriced, horrendous services
