I was really excited to finally do something for myself after years of putting it off, so I had high hopes going into this appointment. Unfortunately, the experience left me disappointed and frustrated.
I arrived 10 minutes early, was brought back 5 minutes before my appointment time, and about 10 minutes passed before the lash application officially started with questions being answers and such. The salon itself was very clean and professional in appearance, which I appreciated.
However, a number of red flags became clear only after I had my lashes redone elsewhere. For starters, my lashes were not cleaned prior to applicationâdespite it being very humid that day. When I asked how I should care for them, I was told to âuse regular soap and wash twice a week,â which I now know is incorrect and could potentially damage your lashes. Another salon advised me never to use regular soap, which makes me feel like I wasnât set up for success and possibly even misled to encourage repeat visits.
The biggest issue? My 2PM full set appointment was completely finished and I was out the door before 2:45PMâunder 40 minutes for a full lash application, which is extremely fast and concerning in hindsight. I tried to give the benefit of the doubt and assumed maybe she just worked quickly.
By the next day, lashesâprimarily on my left eyeâwere already falling out. I reached out directly to the lash artist (Alexis) through the same platform she initially messaged me on, but didnât hear back until Friday. When she finally did respond, she blamed the glue and asked if I had oily skin (I donât usually, but itâs hot and HUMID outside). That explanation didnât make sense since my right eye was mostly fine, and no fix or solution was offered at this time.
Out of frustration, I left a polite voicemail for a manager Friday evening asking them to call me back and left my info. It is now Tuesday (almost a full week later) and no one has returned my call.
By the weekend, I was attending a family reunion and was down to around seven lashes. I felt incredibly self-conscious and didnât want to damage my natural lashes trying to remove them, so I ended up paying out-of-pocket to have them professionally corrected at another salon (which took TWO HOURS, not 30 mins by the way).
Between the appointment, the cost of the sitter, and needing a second appointment elsewhere to fix them, this experience ended up being stressful, time-consuming, and expensive. I provided photo proof with time stamps and was only refunded half via Venmoânothing for the 20% tip, my time, or the inconvenience of needing them fixed elsewhere.
I always try to support small businesses, but I feel completely burned by this one. Sadly, I would not recommend this salon for lash services to anyone.

I recently had a hair cut/color & eyelash extensions done at Studio V. My experience was absolutely phenomenal! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and comfortable. I couldn't be happier with the results!
Janet was incredibly attentive, taking the time to understand my hair concerns and what I wanted to achieve. The color is vibrant and exactly what I asked for, and the cut is perfect. Janet is also incredibly knowledgeable about hair care and always provides helpful tips and recommendations. I trust her completely with my hair!
I had a fantastic experience with Alexis for my eyelash extensions! She was amazing!, so gentle and professional, and my eyelash extensions look AWESOME â Natural, full, and exactly what I wanted. Alexis also took the time to explain the aftercare, which I really appreciated. Highly recommend!
I will definitely be returning for my next appointment!

Big big thanks to studio V for doing the hair and makeup for my sisters wedding on July 30th 2022! The salon made all the arrangements to help fit us in and all of the stylists were so professional and kind! We did 7 faces of full airbrushed make up, lash extensions and all received such unique and elegant hairstyles!! They did makeup for the bride, bridesmaids, the mother of the groom, and the mother of the bride! The makeup and hair lasted the entire night. Can not recommend enough!

Worked here for 2 days as a receptionist while in cosmetology school the owner fired me and basically told me I was not cut out for the field keep in mind I was in cosmetology school and I really hope you see this and are proud of yourself because you made me want to give up
