I love the staff of Storage Rentals of America, they are all so super friendly and helpful. They also have some beautiful locations where they have put storage units. My storage unit is located in a beautiful little spot with a swing, a pond, and surrounded by trees and wildlife. I will never go anywhere else for my storage rental needs.

Horrible service, safety, decency, and a complete lack of communication with their customers. Prices continue to go up while safety is ignored. The front gate, meant to keep non-customers out, is deactivated. The lock codes given to customers are completely useless. There is nothing but a side gate, a chain link fence, as the only access point into the grounds. There is no lock: it is left unlocked all hours of the day and night. Our unit had a broken door for 8 months and they refused to acknowledge or fix it, and never once made an offer of compensation. I have never once seen an employee on the grounds to speak in person about these issues. When calling their number, rarely does anyone pick up, and even more rarely do they make an effort to do right.

The property manager is trying her best to turn the storage around to be a safe place to keep your valuables. The last owners left it unsafe and a mess. Alicia has been very helpful and prompt on returning my calls. She has also done a good job trying to secure the grounds.

If I could give negative stars I would. The only positive is the property manager she is always so helpful. I have had a storage unit there for going on 3 years. One Sunday my door wouldn't shut it was stuck open so I called and the person I talked to didn't want to help or anything. They basically told me I was ginna have to wait till morning. There was no way I'm leaving Mt door open all night with thousands of dollars In stiff inside of it. Then they are the most expensive for a unit. I had a 10×10 and was paying over $200 a month. So if your looking for a good storage unit I definitely would not recommend this place.

Opened an account for Battle Creek location over the phone, all goes well on receiving my payment. I received the access code for get in so I bring belongings to site and keypad to gate is broken. I call back to customer service and don’t have any answers but we know how you’re feeling but nothing we can do until maintenance comes, and this is @6 pm on a Saturday during memorial weekend!

Rented a storage unit from them 2 days ago because I was sharing a unit with my roommate and she came up to get her stuff so I needed to get my own unit. I called them yesterday to try and get a closer unit to the one she had and was told none were available. So moved all my stuff 2 blocks over yesterday and got it all moved to the unit I rented. Went to shut unit and lock it only to find lock area was broken. So called them again only to get told oh well not much we can do. We can move you to a different unit 2 blocks from the one you rented um really cause got told just half hour before there was none available. So I asked if they were going to help move it seems it took me 7 hours yesterday to move everything and got told nope we don't do that you will just have to leave it unsecured and in a week we will send a person out to fix it for you. Um no we went and got the stuff ourselves and fixed it ourselves wasn't leaving it unsecured so that they could steal my stuff. Didn't offer discount or anything. Very unprofessional and no I'm not happy with this place. ?.... really Red Dot leave it unsecured your out of your mind. 0 0 0 stars

Rented a space over the phone. when I got there, the door to the unit was broken, the exit gate was locked, had to drive on lawn to get out. Nobody around, customer service was NO HELP. The main locked gate is broken and doesn't work. They have a couple padlocks but it seems pretty run down for the prices they charge.

Noone is ever on site to make sure the place stays secure. The gate is always broke and left wide open for anyone to drive thru at any hour. The place isnt secure. Storages constantly broke into unless you have a specific lock that can't be cut. If it wasn't such a pain and time consuming I'd have my storage moved to another location.
