An under appreciated convenience for the village. I’m always greeted by an employee upon entering or while shopping. Despite what seems to be the business model for DG, running day to day operations understaffed or overworking salaried employees, the staff at this particular location stay busy if there are no customers ready for checkout, are always polite and helpful and probably more loyal to the company than the company itself deserves. As someone who was once upset about the idea of a Dollar General being put in, the convenience and consistency of my shopping experiences has changed my view.

Paid for my purchase employee followed me and my family out to our car and took our car license plate picture and my children's picture when asked why and to delete my pictures they had no reason as in to why they took my picture . and would Not delete my picture .....I've been to this store 1 other time that time the employees followed me down every isle...this is not right it feels like my rights as a shopper has been taken away I will never be back to this store you get stereotyped.......do better in this world people

The worker followed me and the girls I am babysitting around the store. It was creepy. She followed us through every isle we went down while staring at us. It’s possible she thought we were stealing but either way she did not need to follow us and stare at us. It freaked out both me and the kids. We frequently traveled to the other side of the store where she would pick up items and then put them down in different spots. She was polite while we checked out but her following us was immensely scaring the kids.

The shelves are always empty. The store is disgusting compared to the other dollar general stores. They scam you on the 5dollar off coupons on Saturdays by saying it won't scan we have to punch it in and nodiscount. If I owned this store I would fire everyone in it and restart it with people that actually want to earn thier pay check not the lazy no good people they have in there now

First I would like say, as a whole, I love DG. The Springport location however is a joke. I shop there frequently and I am personally about to start shopping at another location. The Springport location is a constant maze of stock that isn't put on shelves. Meanwhile, you have an employee ( Nichole) who brings her child to work with her. ( I'm guessing around age 5 or 6) The new assistant manager ( Amanda) stands behind the registers playing kissy face with her husband, shopping or standing out in front of the store complaining about fellow coworkers and or swearing. ( Vulgar language). She is also only friendly towards people she knows or when Kristina is there. The bathroom hasn't been cleaned in a while. The floors are filthy. I have done their little survey but apparently nobody actually cares about an honest one and only pays attention to the ones said employees get family and friends to fill out. What is the point of doing them, if it changes NOTHING!? How can a business pay employees to sit on their butts in an office, hanging out with family or shopping with them, as we the paying customers have to climb over stock in search of items we want to purchase ( which are usually on a cart somewhere on the floor)?? Is this location strictly a daycare or a new place for family reunions? I know I'm not the only customer fed up.My advice to those who love DG, pick another location!

The man who helped me find the Core H20 was an Angel was feeling good until I got in line. The cashier should keep her anti Covid vaccine comments to herself not only did she make me feel uncomfortable she gave me a headache listing to her Knowledge of Covid
