Internet is mostly non existent , tv has been completely off for two days and this is after the 40 number channels were non existent for a week. They seem to not have any knowledgeable techs on staff. Wow or exfinity needs to buy them out .

Absolutely garbage internet, can’t wait to get the money to get starlink, trying to do anything in the past week has been Impossible because every 10 seconds the tv buffers, or every 5 minutes, the game freezes and kicks me out, or the computer I use for schoolwork doesn’t connect and my grades plummet, please for the love of all that’s mighty just upgrade the god forsaken grids, it’s not that hard, you guys are just cheap.

Jan 1 2023 12:01am internet down!Lived in the area since 1996. Had springcom since the dial up days. High prices for the services offered($100+ for 50mbps fiber), internet down multiple times a week(documented), requiring restarts on my end to keep it crippling along, ISP constantly blaming it on my routers(Apple Airport previously and a unifi mesh currently), always claiming I am the ONLY fiber customer having problems(same issues for years on springcom dsl AND fiber even though i have changed routers and replaced ALL my internet connected devices several times in the last ten years so the problem couldn't be the same if it was my equipment). Takes a day and two trips to the phone company to get a replacement modem. When I drove to them to pick one up during normal business hours (9:45am,middle of the week) Was told “ALL of the techs are out on a BIG call” and we can’t program a new one without them… So big of a call they didn’t think to keep a tech around for the rest of us customers? “Customer service” reps hang up if you so much as say “well goddamn” in frustration while on the phone with them. Was told that I should have/needed to call before coming in for something as simple as a faulty modem exchange. My wife works from home and requires reliable internet. I don’t have time to make appointments to exchange faulty small equipment because the company I pay for internet won’t keep enough capable staff on hand to handle basic problems. 24hr internet “help” is off site(ohio/indiana based I believe), regularly doesn’t pick up the phone and offers little more than “restart your modem and router” or “I can put in a ticket for the office to look at in the morning” when they do answer. Have been left over the weekend with no internet when a problem was reported thursday night/friday morning. It also seems as though the “owner” only responds to reviews if they are positive, or if they figure they can discredit the review. Poor form. We need some resolution to these problems, not childish games.Doing the math, on the 17 reviews available. It seems springcom has around 89% negative and 11% positive reviews.......????Some of my documentation is in the form of screenshots, trouble screens, endless loading screens, and failed speed/connectivity tests. This is what I have WRITTEN down for the last year. *I am omitting days that required JUST, SINGLE modem restarts for the sake of my sanity and not making this any longer than necessary*Internet down 4-30-20 8:50pmInternet down 5-3-20 2:45 amInternet down 5-4-20 8:43pmInternet down 5-9-20 10:26pmInternet down 5-14-20 2:10pm8-14-20 1:56am low bandwidth, trouble connecting8-14-20 11:08pm low bandwidth, high latency.8-23-20 1:48am internet down8-28-20 12:16am internet down9-8-20 9:09pm problems loading netflix, problems buffering videos and loading websites9-16-20 11:57pm problems downloading, problems buffering, router reports isp side issues11-1-20 12:02am internet down/connectivity issues.had to restart modem several times to barely be able to watch a 4k movie on 50up/50down fiber4-24-21connectivity issues. Jan 1st 2023. Down yet AGAIN since 12:01 AM! Tried restarting and calling the 24 hr ‘support’ number - no answer of course. Nothing hopefully the place is open tomorrow and I can get this working - if they don’t give us the run around.

Still not enough bad reviews in the world to explain how horrible this internet service is. Goes completely down for half a day on the regular and they’ve done nothing to fix it in the almost 3 years I’ve had them. Only reason they have customers is because nobody has a choice in this area. They haven’t upgraded their service grid since the dial up days and they think they can just run some new cables and update their office and magically provide reliable modern internet. How about investing some money in a proper setup? Nah then they’d have to spend a little money to deliver a quality service.

I pay $80 and there are constant hiccups can’t even have more than one device hooked up without it lagging.. my router shows orange that there’s a problem on your side but on the modem doesn’t show a problem.. hope issues get resolved soon!

My mother has been a customer for 50 years. She just got a shut off notice that was generated one day past her due date for one payment. Today we cannot use the phones, but I am happy to say the internet we pay $50/month for UP TO 5mbps is working. Springcom has decided we would be better off giving a billionaire a bit more money for Starlink when it becomes available instead of continuing to support a local business. Your right. We can do far better. I am now determined to dump your phone and internet service as soon as possible. I’m going to save this notice and bring it with me when I schedule the disconnection.

2020- constant hiccups, slowdowns, shutoffs, and high latency, and that's just to start with. they can't even support more than 15% of the town with higher speeds than 15 mb/s download and to my knowledge no one can get above 1.5 mb/s upload. Not a good internet provider of you like steaming anything higher than 720p, if you ARE a streamer, if you play games online, or even have more then 2 people in your household. Not only that, a 15GB game can take anywhere from 4-9 hours depending on if it's a good day or not. And they hold a monopoly over the town of Springport so they don't let anyother company put up wires or antennae so you have a real struggle finding a company that can support the location.2022- things have somehow got actually worse, now the drop outs are at least every other day on the dot and can range anywhere from 20 minutes to 3 hrs. I hope higher mandatory internet service standards become law sometime soon, because that coupled 1mbs upload and working from Home is really frustrating

Twice as expensive as internet in Jackson or Albion, half the speed. Currently paying $120 for 6mbs, had to sign up for cable even though I never use it.Update : after almost 36 months of paying an extra $60/mo I asked today and apparently they could just disconnect my cable and cut my bill in half. So despite being told I had to have it, I don’t. Congrats guys you got an extra $2k off me. Kind of dishonest if you ask me.UPDATE: low speeds and high prices were bad enough, but the last month or so the CONSTANT OUTAGES are literally forcing me to move somewhere else. Probably the worst ISP I've ever used.

Internet is down 2-3 times a week I have told them about this and nothing gets down but what can I do there is no other internet provider out here

They don't even deserve 1 star. My current service is supposed to be up to 5mbs but speeds rarely go above 500kbs and never above 1mbs. In recent months service has gotten even worse with almost daily outages. Any attempt to resolve these issues is met by them blaming anything and everything except themselves. Not impressed by seeing them try to discredit negative reviews either.

My husband and I had this company for internet for four years and had a great experience! For being so far out in the country we had great service and everyone we talked to was incredibly helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend them to anyone in the area!

0/5 wouldn’t recommend. Pay way to much for the service that hardly ever works in the first place. Only getting one star because it’s giving me no choice but to put one down. Again, 0/5.
