Bank branch manager answered important questions in appropriate product selection; deposit taking was quick, and a copy of my banking application received.It was local to my parent's residence which makes it easy to visit this branch. I never banked with First State despite close location a few blocks down to my former residence In Macomb in 2008.Look forward banking with First State. I have a banking goal to understand account balances; the idea and value of budget, and work towards my first unsecured credit product.I'm not sure how First State differs from a credit union but I'm happy I became a hometown customer!”
“Most of my banking is done online, but on multiple occasions I’ve needed assistance from a physical bank. This is the bank I have returned to, and as of the other day, they have my business for life.
Regardless of whether I had an account with them, these ladies have always treated me with the utmost respect and did not ever hound me for their business.
I needed to set up an account to use as an escrow for my rental payments. I already have a stressful situation on my hands, so I was visibly upset.
I’ve never felt more welcomed. I was able to explain my needs, and those needs were met. They went above and beyond to make me feel valued and I cannot express how THANKFUL I am for their kindness.
Good financial institutions are very hard to find. Huntington is where it’s at!!

“I wanted to open a new account to take advantage of a current CD special. I went to the St. Clair Shores Branch on Little Mack. I made an appointment for a Saturday. The Branch was busy which is to be expected on a Saturday. My wife and I were helped by Lisa. She was very professional, and she apologized for our wait time. She took her time with us and explained many things the credit union has to offer. Overall a very good experience, I am happy I made the choice to open an account.”
