Went to get some advice about a repair and spoke to Chris. Found him to be very disinterested and rude. He would not even look at what I brought in to get repaired because he said it's not worth much. Instead taking a look at what I brought in, he did a 15 second search on his phone as to the value. I was hoping for much better service but was blown off by his lack of interest. I guess money is all that matters to him. I didn't bring the item in to him to get an appraisal or be insulted by his comments as to the value. He could not have been more disinterested. He also seemed crabby. I won't ever go back nor recommend him or his company. Follow up: Took the same item into another repair shop today and they found a simple problem and fixed in a few minutes. Working fine.

Chris fixed my fried circuits and keyboard on my Wullitzer General Music WX400. It is old, but he gave me a fair price to get it up and running. Very good quality. Great on time. Thanks. Great experience.

Have taken quite a few vintage synthesizers to Chris and he's always done a great job of getting them to work properly!

When my home recording studio flooded I knew I was in for a long battle to get everything repaired or replaced. I told my wife about the problems I had doing the initial insurance reporting and I said that it was quite an adventure. In her wisdom she replied that the adventure was far from over. As I started to look for someone to repair my studio keyboard I finally was forced to revert to Yamaha for their local authorized repair. I took the keyboard - a Yamaha Motif 8 from around 2001 - and the service engineer said he'd look it over an get back to me. I figured two or three weeks, but, no... three business days later I had an estimate for the insurance company. Anyone who says the idea of good service is dead never worked with Electronic Innovations in St. Claire shores, MI. They are wizards! The owner had a detailed estimate and I can get it straight to the insurance company. I then asked if they could look at my Tascam mixer board if necessary and, of course, the answer was "yes". Bottom line... If you need audio equipment repaired and you can get to St. Claire Shores, go here. They are fast, knowledgeable, factory authorized and seem to have a real love of audio - especially recording - gear. Their prices are reasonable ($75 bench fee for preparing a proposal, but included if you have them repair your gear), and are well experienced in working with insurance companies. Five stars and two thumbs up for these guys!

Brought my turntables in for a check up. Chris helped me understand what he was going to check for and was very thorough in helping me with any questions. His prices were fair and I will definitely come back to Electronic Innovations for my future electronics repair needs.

Chris is one of the most amazing people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting! Oh by the way, he's one of the most talented techs in the Metropolitan Detroit area! I've entrusted many of my classic pedals, amps and keyboards to him! The turnaround time is always great and his prices are reasonable!

Owner does great work. My keyboard works and sounds like new again. It's rare to find someone so passionate about keyboards and how to repair them... especially the vintage ones.

Got repairs for your music-making gear? Do yourself a favor and see Chris at Electronic Innovations. I was new to the area and was stressing out on sending my Oberheim out to Cali for repairs. Driving down 9 mile I saw the storefront and it felt like it was worth a try. Sure enough Chris does top-notch work on anything I take his way, and I've got some far-out stuff.
