I just finished the process of purchasing a home with my wife. Nick Olczak with FristState bank came highly recommended and now we understand why. He made the financial side of purchasing a home an absolute breeze. He is extremely knowledgeable and could answer any questions with ease. Even after we closed on our house, he has been super helpful answering even the smallest of questions on whether or not we received junk mail. He truly goes above and beyond to make this process the most smooth sailing as it can be. He really takes the stress out of buying a home!

Worst customer service ever! 48th & Old Cheney location in Lincoln NE. Was told I couldn’t cash a check when the check was from that bank. So now I can’t get paid for the job I just finished. What kind of bank doesn’t cash their own checks. Ridiculous worst bank ever.

I've had my personal accounts with FSB for years, and also use them for my business banking needs as well. I just financed an auto loan through my business, and my loan officer, Andre, went above and beyond to make sure I was able to get my car on time so I could carry on with business. He was also very helpful, thorough, and pleasant to work with. If you need a business loan, FSB is your bank!

Terrible service. All my Real Estate Agents collages agree that they drag their feet to make a decision. It seems like the underwriters control the decision process with no with decision from the loan officer. Agents be aware of the process here. Best to go with a broker that can close a loan within 2 weeks.

Several attempts at a refi but they do not value the business. Avoid this company and go with a major provider that quite possibly will return calls and provide you with some actual service. Just overall a bad experience from day one.

I have been with First State Bank since 1983. I love supporting our community bank, and they have always maintained the stability and personal touch you would expect from a local business. Big banks change hands, products, and policies regularly, but First State has been a steady presence, providing great service and commitment to this community for the long haul!
