“I walked into Men’s Wearhouse on Mack one week before a wedding with a problem: I had just realized I didn’t own a suit that fit me anymore, and I was worried I had waited too long to do anything about it.
Thankfully, Jalauni proved me wrong.
From the moment I walked in, he made the experience comfortable and completely pressure-free. There was no stereotypical suit salesman rushing over to pitch me on the most expensive thing in the store. Instead, Jalauni took a few minutes to listen, understand my situation, my timeframe and my budget, and then went to work helping me find the right suit.
He clearly has an eye for this. I’m very tall and lean with broad shoulders and long arms, so finding something that fits well off the rack isn’t always easy. After looking around for a moment, the very first suit Jalauni pulled for me ultimately ended up being the winner. It fit comfortably, looked sharp and genuinely made me feel good wearing it. He even steered me toward a color and style I’ve never worn before, and now I’m really excited to wear it to the wedding.
Just as importantly, he respected my budget throughout the entire process. The suit was already within the range I wanted to spend, and Jalauni even helped direct me to a discount that made the purchase more affordable.
The alterations needed were fairly minimal, but with the wedding only a week away, timing was obviously a concern. Jalauni and his store manager went out of their way to accommodate my turnaround time and make sure I’d be taken care of.
What started as a stressful, last-minute situation ended up being an easy and genuinely enjoyable experience. I’m grateful to Jalauni and the entire team at Men’s Wearhouse on Mack and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a new suit or outfit…especially if you want someone who will actually listen, understand what looks good on you and help you find the right fit without the pressure.”

“Had a really nice experience at the Hot Topic in Macomb Mall! The employee Giovanni was absolutely amazing and fabulous super helpful, kind, and genuinely wanted to assist me. Even though the anime selection was pretty disappointing (it felt like everything else was prioritized over anime), Giovanni made the visit worth it. I’ll definitely be coming back just for him. He was truly a standout!
That said, Hot Topic really should focus more on anime and not push it aside for other trends. There’s a huge community of anime fans who would love to see it better represented in-store!”

Al Bartell is an amazing christian, business owner, and person who knows how to get you fitted in classic custom suits and shirts with that Detroit flair. The whole team is amazing: JB and the family (Sister/Sons). Al Bartell is a straight shooter who will tell you like it is. He knows style culture and fabrics and have you fitted out Bespoke/Made to Measure Suits: Dormeuil, Cerutti, Loro Piana. Custom Made Shirts: Sea Island/Egyptian Cotton etc. Al turned me own to some great shoes as well. They have off the rack casual, business, and special events suiting. In addition Al Bartell is involved with supporting the community with tie give aways for the Fathers Days and other nonprofit related activities. He is great persona and christian brother. His store is located right in the heart of the Detroit near Mack Ave. Go out and support him.”
