“We used Grosse Pointe Moving and storage for our local home move on 11-06-2024. They were wonderful! The moving crew couldn’t have been more thoughtful and respectful to us and our belongings. They worked extremely hard from 9 am until 6 pm, but still maintained their cheerful demeanor! A great big Thank You to the crew that moved us, you guys are efficient and a lot of fun! We also had Grosse Pointe Moving pack our belongings for us, they did a superb job! I would definitely recommend Grosse Pointe Moving & Storage they are all around great, Thank you!”

“They were highly recommended by the seller and I’m so glad I went with Thumbs Up Moving even though they were a little more than a couple other moving companies but a lot lower than the more popular moving companies. I don’t know what I could’ve done without them, I don’t think any other movers would’ve gone above and beyond to get things where I wanted them in the house and for each item, they asked where exactly I wanted them to place them and were willing to take things I did not want or need and get rid of them for me. I heard of horror stories where movers were late and taking long breaks and were careless with the furniture and appliances, etc. Herb and Tom did not hesitate to get started as soon as they arrived and did not stop at all for breaks or anything, and as soon as they were done with my condo, they went straight to my storage and took care of that as well very quickly not taking their time to add more to the bill. They were also very honest and went to lunch and let me know that they will not include that and got to my new place and unloaded everything very rapidly as well but were very careful not to scratch up any of the furniture and walls. I will definitely recommend Thumbs Up Moving to anyone I know that’s thinking about moving, I just wish I could give them 10 stars.”

“As someone who has gotten burned my bad moving experiences in the past I’m not kidding when I say you’d be an idiot not to use DTM.
I called and got a quote which was very reasonable after calling around in about 2 minutes. They reached out day before to confirm and ask if I needed other help to prep.
Day of was unreal. Chad, Jordan and 3rd guy (sorry he was awesome!) not only arrived early but absolutely crushed this move. Clearly they work together often as they are efficient as anything I’ve seen. So happy I picked them for this move. They even helped me with a few things not part of the move like placing my fridge back and moving a dresser I ordered.
Moving sucks and this was anything but. If you are moving and need Movers, DTM is the only call you need to make. Thank you!!!”
“I was in a bind and needed a moving company for the upcoming weekend and came across Macomb Movers. Needless to say, I’m glad I did! They were early than their estimated arrival time and the guys were very careful with all my belongings and very polite. I never ever want to move again, but if I had to, they’d definitely be my first call. Very affordable as well. Highly recommend!”
“Just had 2 fine young men ( Terrance & Nassir) come to my residence and remove a sleeper sofa and loveseat. Terrance and Nassir both were pleasant and professional from the moment they arrived to the time they departed. They were also very eager and patient in answering any and all questions/concerns I had. The 2 pieces I had were heavy and bulky! They carefully got them through a small space (hallway) and out the door with no damage to my walls, floors, or doors. Very Happy with the entire process! I also am more than pleased with the quick scheduling and more than fair pricing, which I say Thank You to the owner (Damian) for! I called Liberty via a Google search on Monday 7/24, and All Is Done Tuesday 7/25! Really Impressed Big Time and Will Call on them again, FOR SURE!”

“I used them today after a few people recommended them to me and they honestly did a great job. They were able to schedule me last minute, which was such a relief. They showed up on time and got right to work. I felt like the job I had kind of sucked, moving out going down a flight of stairs and going up a flight moving in, and to top it off it was raining. They worked really hard and they got it done fast. I was really worried my couch wasn’t going to fit going up the stairs into my new apartment, but they pulled it off. “John and his company have helped me with many light moving jobs inside my property - moving refrigerators or furniture between floors. They have also hauled away junk for a reasonable price as well as helped with some major demo work. The team pulled up a vinyl floor to help expose hardwoods on my entire 2nd floor. I'm always flexible regarding time, not on a tight schedule. They show up, work hard, and help with any small jobs I have. I so appreciate having the help and someone to call when I need heavy lifting. Thank you!”
