June 26, 2025-the card arrived today. I had just finished making a new one last night. I had not made it to the post office yet today to mail it. š”
June 19, 2025-card still has not arrived. Guess I better start making a new, belated, birthday card. Lowered rating star to 1. Maybe USPS should make their motto āMaking customers look like a fool, one piece of mail at a time!ā š
June 17, 2025-Very disappointed in the service. I constructed a pop-up, handmade card for a friendās birthday. On Wednesday, June 11, 2025 about 9:15am, I used the self serve kiosk in the lobby because I knew the homemade card was a bit heavier and possibly a bit thicker than a regular stamp would cover. I paid $1.19 for the postage. I then dropped the letter in the āoutgoingā mail chute, expecting the card to arrive at my friendās house, that is 18.5 miles away, by Friday, June 13, 2025-as the kiosk said it would. Today is Tuesday, June 17, 2025 and my friend has still not received her card. Her birthday has come and gone! Thanks USPS! š Perhaps the APWU should work on bettering their employees at their profession and worry less on being a āpartnerā of a government protest.
*I gave 2 stars because I was feeling generous.

Waited two times 6 days for a package. Was told I refused it. Which is a lie. Had to go to the back door to let me have the package, which was sitting there the whole time.

If i could give negative stars i would. Do not go here. They have absolutely zero clue what they are doing- they do not scan in prepaid packages at all- they just send them out wit scanning the barcode so they are completely untrackable until they HOPEFULLY get to the next location. In my opinion, there is some theft potentially going on. When you ask them why nothing has been scanned they blame other post offices. Really sketch. My packages still havent showed movement after dropping them off. I have never experienced such unprofessionalism.

Our substitute mail carrier constantly walks up to our raised flowerbed steps in it and delivers our mail from it when we have steps to our porch. He also throws packages from the bottom of our steps to the front door. When we spoke to him about this he denied everything. We said we just seen you do it and his smartass remark was it must have been someone else. That man needs an attitude adjustment! If you donāt like your job or the world, stay home. Nobody needs your attitude!!

Very unfriendly staff. Shouted at me when I tried to come in after close. Got visibly annoyed when I had a large package. No eye contact or smiles

I waited 40 minutes in a holiday-crazed line, only to be treated so very rudely by a staff member āa mid 50s woman, who refused to give me one SINGLE piece of tape for my box. At every other USPS location Iāve ever visited, this has never been an issue, but today, the employee was unnecessarily rude and dismissive about it. She told me I could buy some tape off the wall. $7 for some tape, I could get for $1.25 at Dollar Tree?! No thank you! Instead of offering any help or solutions, she acted like I was asking for something outrageous. I said āIām sorry you canāt give me a single piece of tape?ā āNOPE.ā She barked at me. So unhelpful and was unkind, demanding that I ābetter have a proper codeā for the box I was holding.
For a service that is supposed to cater to customers, this kind of behavior is completely unacceptable. Waiting that LONG line, only to be met with such poor treatment is infuriating. I yelled āand happy holidays to you!ā As I walked away from the desk.
If basic courtesy and minimal assistance are too much to ask for, maybe this location needs to reassess how they train their staff.
I will sure be avoiding this location in the future! The one by my work in Pontiac/Bloomfield Hills are SO MUCH nicer! And MUCH more helpful!

Iāve had several great experiences with this post office. I send a LOT of packages through them. Theyāre always happy to take my bags of packages, dump them, and bring me back my bags. When I recently accidentally dropped my check for my water bill in the blue bin outside, they were technically closed but still one employee was there and let me leave a note about what had happened. I came back the next day at the time they empty the bin and the guy came right up with my check!

Rick was super helpful and saved me about 30 dollars on mailing a package internationally vs what I was able to find/price out online, and he was able to make sure I got tracking for it. I appreciate the help and knowledge.
