Expensive things are expensive I know it's not a big box store but over charging is over charging I could have gotten six wall anchors for the price I paid for two that's not right but all of Standish is over priced on everything that's why I shop in Bay City or West Branch

Won't go back, everything I bought was more at the register than the price on the shelf. Guys say we had a lot of price increases recently yet got 2 guys behind counter working one register. Maybe one of them should be changing the prices on the shelf. I would be buyer aware when purchasing items. So a bad experience and wasted my valuable time.

Below is a review from 2 years ago. I figured id give another chance since i was buying a big ticket item. After 10 minutes of an associate trying to look busy and ignoring me even raising my hand for assistance, i still was ignored.
Never again
I went in and the female cashier was standing around BS'ing with others in front,I was not greeted. Then in the back I needed a belt that for some reason was behind the counter. I waited for 20 minutes before someone asked if I needed assistance. Then I was told I needed to know the length of the belt, not it's part number or what it was needed for. I then used my phone to find out the length and then learned they don't carry that length. Was a total waste of time. For instance, if I could Google the length, you'd think with their computer they could have done the same.
I then passed the same female cashier still BS'ing with same people when I grumbled about being disappointed with service (,just loud enough for them to hear) and she remarked to the others about how rude I was. Yet they were being paid to assist customers and would rather BS with each other.

The lady at the register was no help at all, pointing me towards a isle at the back of the store. I had no idea what I needed sometime later a gentleman came to help although what he picked out for me was wrong he tried. And the next hardware store in Tawas was friendly and helpful.

Every time I go in this store, it’s like cockroaches when the lights are turned on. They all run and hide. Last time I was there, when I asked a question, I kid you not, the guy rolled his eyes at me. This place definitely needs to train their staff. They are so rude and certainly not helpful.
