I honestly loved coming here for therapy. My therapist (Jodi) was amazing and I'm actively trying to return to therapy here. 10/10 would recommend.

Don't waste your time here. You will not get answers, help or treatment. Your better off reading a self help book. Unprofessional, unknowledgeable, a plain joke!

I have to totally disagree with some of the negative reviews on here. They help anyone who wants help. I have seen several people come in, and they are all treated great and with professionalism. I have got every service I asked for or was referred to. Everyone is polite, and they go out of their way to help when you ask. They always answer any questions I have, and they work one on one with my primary care doctor to give me the best help they can. I recommend Montcalm Care Network 100% and assure you that if you give them a try, you will get the help you need. They even help with transportation to appointments if needed. I can not say enough how appreciative I am for the staff there. Thank you.

Wish I could give it a 0 star. I was set up with one counselor and before she metor spoke to me she didn't want me as her patient. I then felt weirded out but I needed a counselor 2nd counselor I had there First appointment went okay. 2nd appointment she was mean and snippy and judgementle of my life. I would never recommend this place to anyone. The fact that I was new there and treated this way it makes me sick

Place is a total joke no one takes you seriously can’t get counseling unless you jump threw a million hoops when your struggling they ignore you.they Don’t show up for appointments, show up late, don’t reschedule then you call or message them they ignore you till you say cancel my services then they wanna advocate for you. cancel right before appointment. Dr.Kim was my psychiatrist and I was waiting 15 mins mins you I left work his status said “available” during these 15 minutes so I was like is my connection bad so I logged off and right back on I was signed back on for a minute and they called told me I needed to reschedule because I was on there then I left and showed up late. Although I waiting on HIM for 15 minutes I needed to reschedule this appointment was very important as I have been struggling. When I told the lady cancel my services all she said was ok thank you have a good day. As a mental health place there should have been some sense of concern.

I always gotten good care, the only issue I have is they keep pushing the DBT at me, when I told them I don't do good in groups or the skills are to hard for me, I was told DBT or go somewhere else for therapy, you should be able to provide me with a therapists, so my mental health services don't have to be scattered with a bunch of mental health agencies.

I've been going here on and off for a long time. They do care! They provide a great service. The problem is most only leave reviews when they're upset. I know many people that go here and they are happy with their services.

First of all... It is Definitely a Red Flag if my own doctor has expressed Their concerns of the way my chilf couldn't and would be released from MCN to help with other networks to get my children the care they needed! Worst worst feeling as a parent! Then home based therapist has continue to let ignore my concerns of drug involvement that bc he says that my child said he isn't on it and now my child is an addict from Not getting the help he needed then and now and of course when I have asked repeatedly to speak to or with an supervisor they haven't told me to find out Why he isn't listening. They refuse to give a name and a number. Asked therapist ad well as every staff member there been told that my concerns need to be addressed to my therapist! That makes No sense!!!

Worst experience ever!!! According to CPS 90% of their case's originate from the community mental health department. Took my disabled son there for behavioral health therapy and within 15mins of being in this ghost town building the therapist asked my son to leave the room. Laughed at me and told me i would have to deal with CPS now. I called CPS right away and brought all 3 of my kids in to meet a CPS worker. CPS dismissed all allegations & shared information about this countries mental health system. We never returned..i will never recommend anyone to seek treatment there. I have also never seen any mental health department of any kind so empty. That should have been a huge red flag to me .. i had no idea any county service could get away with such things for founding .. especially with using children's lives. 7yrs later thier parking lot is still always completely empty. ~ Ionia county community mental health department is extremely helpful and they do truly help people & families. I org. posted this in 2018. It's all still the same today and very true. ẞe Careful.

The staff is the deciding factor of whether you need treatment or not. So happy I was not ready to take my own life.

Not really sure how a place that is supposed to offer mental help can decide not to treat someone because they “seem pretty sound minded” or aren’t “severe” enough. But unless you’re a raging schizophrenic or belong in a ward, I would suggest looking elsewhere. Also not sure why I couldn’t have been told in the first place when I asked if they were accepting patients, that unless they deemed you severe that we would be turned down. Could have saved me time on finding someone who will actually treat my husband.
