Never rent a car from this place. The people who work at this location are rude and unprofessional. They will deny you a rental car without explanation. Discriminatory and prejudicial. Worst customer service. Poor reflection of budget.

Always accommodating and professional. I have used their service a few times per year for the past 5 years including the quarantine and I have never been disappointed. Parking can be a little tight. Lately they have your rental waiting for you just outside the door when you are done with the paperwork.

I meant to leave this review back in May. It’s something that has lived in my head rent free lol. Wanted to give a shout out to Trina and her team for taking the very best care of me and hooking me up with my rental. I originally ordered closer to my house. The budget on hall road. Had the worst experience with a manager there named Pam. Pre paid months in advance needed to add on two more days and she was awful and told me she couldn’t help me and I had to go to the Sterling Heights location! Thank the lord for that. I met Trina and she was the light at the end of my horrible experience! I recommend her and her team to everyone I talk to as I’m in sales and it’s important to recognize the good! Thank you again Trina! You have a customer for life!!

Carla helped me get into a rental even after i was told i couldn’t get it because they screwed up my reservation but she helped me get it together and made sure i got into a suv great customer service!!

If I could give a half star I would. The staff at the Warren location 15 & van dyke were so very unprofessional, rude and had no business dealing with the public because they had no problem what so ever showing their dislike for any person or persons that we’re not of the same or similar pigmentation as them.

We reserved a moving truck for our wedding on June 1st. When we arrived today, the day before our wedding, to pick it up we were told they don’t have it. They said they called the day before but we have no voicemails or record of a call. No apologies, no alternatives. Not a care in the world. Just told to call corporate. The three women at the front were all of the place and incredibly unorganized- repeatedly questioning if we had made the reservation that day. Corporate could not locate a truck so last minute… so Budget sucked up multiple hours and worry the day before my wedding. Don’t waste your time with this place. They literally do not care about you at all.

The office I picked up the vehicle from help me sign all the paperwork before seeing the vehicle. Once I walk back to pick up the vehicle I noticed the tire was flat so I drove the vehicle to the front door to only find out they had closed. I feel that is very poor customer service not make sure the customer and the vehicle is drivable before leaving the office. I needed the vehicle and for the next morning, but was it unable to drive it. I called customer service just to be given the runaround and asking me to drive over 30 miles to the airport to pick up another vehicle, which I was not going to do. Needless to say, after all the numerous calls to customer service trying to get another vehicle that same day they had one dropped off from the airport the next morning which delayed my departure time by three hours. And on top of that, neither vehicle was clean the one from the site or the one that was dropped off from the airport. It was trash and a notepad in the vehicle from the last renter. I will never again use Budget or Avis or anyone else that is affiliated.

The lady was not friendly from the moment we walked in. Was not helpful and had an attitude. Wasn’t able to get rental because information that was not disclosed at time of reservation. I also called the day of reservation and asked if I could upgrade she said there was nothing in inventory and then when I pick it up it wasn’t even the car I reserved. Very upset and will never book with Budget or Avis again.

I came in after having a blow out. The inventory was low but the young man at the counter, Justin made it happen! He turned my not so good day to an awesome one!! Great customer service and clear communication. Give that man a raise ?. Thanks Budget and thank you Justin.

Ms. Cindy stood out with her curteousness and kindness. She served me with excellence and her kindness was extended when she picked me up in the rental from my vehicle in the parking lot so that I didn't have to walk to the rental in the rain. What a blessing of favor!

We rented an SUV for a Thanksgiving holiday trip to Marietta, GA. The first sign of trouble was when I had to add our own window washer fluid to fill the reservoir before heading down. We decided to leave Georgia, Sunday at 1am to avoid the severe rain storms moving Northeast across the south. From there it was 15 hours of white-knuckle Hell for a trip that should only take 10 hours & 45 mins. (Not including stops). Our SUV kept fish-tailing any time we crossed a bridge, lanes were or water puddle reason being they placed us in a vehicle that had severely wore tires. The ONLY tire with good tread was the driver side front tire. We had to drive over 700 miles at least 10-20 miles under the speed limit in heavy rain and at times, white out conditions. When we return the car yesterday I explain what happened and some of the staff were chuckling and smiling about our experience. They took $100 off the cost of the rental and told us to call the 800# to complain. When asked why they don't do mechanic inspections between rentals, the agent stated that they're not a maintenance facility and they only do mechanic inspections when a customer complains about an issue or when the oil change is due, which incidentally, we had a oil change notification while driving back from Georgia. If you choose to rent from this location verify the oil has been change and the tires are not bald.
