12-8-2024 This happened 8.45 morning. I stop store 16 Mike Dyke two sales there one old man red shirt and one nice young lady I process something I need by mistake I love say no offense they add more products my back and I ask Hem ( guy red shirt ) Pl can y take this off I no need not my are xxx. He get so rude so rude so offensive and lire. He say are gift we not take money from you. Sr yes you take money not gift please take off . He throw way my receipt on air I can’t took now he ask young lady tell her are gift. We me and her check all one by one and again explain money are take not gift. She say Yes not gifted I can’t return he have to I call hem. Omg he come so a so angry shout me because she explain he wrong they not gift. How he yelled I ask I need your name and manager ph nr or corps phone nr. Y not do this costumer yelled front line from your mistake He lie again he say nr receipt is corporate nr. I say no sr u keep lie to me thsi is store phone nr. Let me ring and yes what he answer the phone. Now he get mad he yelled out out outtttt. And o told hem im gong call corporate on you / you can’t yelled costumers And im going too he have be fired. Rude angry and lie

Clearance event started and it’s barely anything put out things are sitting in bins clearance items aren’t pulled from the shelf and put into the clearance area. Also the store smells like mildew. The whole store needs to be organized better

Worst experience ever with customer service. The lady older lady with the pink hair was really rude to me, I was so caught off guard. They need to teach them how they should talk to customers. You think it would be common sense. I don't know if she was prejudice or what. Be she was just NASTY!. I had to curse her out in order for her to be nicer 🤦🏾♀️.

The older lady who works there was extremely rude to my mother for no apparent reason. When my mom went to ask the employee a question, she responded with "what what what do you want!?!?!?!" This behavior is absolutely unacceptable, and it's concerning that such disrespectful individuals are allowed to serve the public. It's incredibly disappointing and concerning.

The old lady work there is too rude i saw her shout at old man who wanted help at the self check out. Then i asked her to check on price of something but it was high for my buged and i did not want it she sout on me telling me you have to return it frome were you get it! Which is her job.

I wouldn’t buy sour cream because I saw refrigerated items fully loaded on cart sitting in aisle and items weren’t cold enough for me.Their 50% off Christmas signs don’t mean anything. The items didn’t ring up properly and clerk said Christmas candy isn’t all ½ off!

Is there ANYONE that's in HR or management or someone that's in charge to address the NUMEROUS AMOUNT of COMPLAINTS of RUDE WORKERS at this particular Dollar General store has received and CONTINUES TO RECEIVE??? Do any of y'all read, let alone even care about these reviews?? Like everyone else that has left a review, I too am disgusted with the way those cashiers have treated us customers, who are the reason y'all are in business in the first place! Don't hire people that huff and puff when asked for help with something or to ring up something --- a.k.a. *DOING YOUR JOB* !! I am still sitting in the parking lot right now, because after being treated with such disdain and disrespect from the miserable old lady with short pink hair, I wanted to leave this review right away! When you have a worker like that, that will literally exhale in a very obvious "I'm annoyed and inconvenienced" like that miserable lady had to with me, why work somewhere that your job entails you to provide customer service when you can't even do that?? Heck, even faking it seems like it'd be a challenge for that woman. So I guess I shall say to the joyless, always ticked off looking pink hair lady: I am truly sorry you had to type your employee number back in after the screen locked me out at the self checkout lane because I was looking for my money in my wallet that got misplaced. Your actions were completely justified when you whipped the computer screen around and made a very obvious exhale because how dare a customer like myself ask for help.
Unbelievable.
And again, to anyone in charge, I'd strongly urge someone to look into hiring a batch of new, pleasant & a welcoming attitude potential employees that are willing to actually exercise customer service for this DG store. Like, STAT!

what's up with that older woman who always has a scowl on her face????? Some may chalk it up to having a bad day but when you go in the next time, and then again another time, that scowl continues to remain out on full display every. single. time. It's a bummer, because I used to frequent that dollar general quite often since I live right by there. However, that's changed because I got tired of seeing that lady looking miserable and giving attitude whenever I'd ask her a quick question anytime I went in. The silver lining with leaving this type of review is seeing so many other ppl expressing the same issues as me.

I am confused as to where the dollar thing comes in, the prices here are a bit much. For example a 99 cent can of chick peas is tagged $2.49 Really!!. I don't think I ever need to go back to Dollar General again.
