I was online shopping and an item that my daughter was really hoping for was no longer available. I called the Sterling Heights store to see if they had it in stock. Luckily, they did! Tamara was who assisted me and she was super friendly and accommodating! She helped me purchase the item and is having it shipped to my home! My daughter is going to be so excited! Great customer service!! Thank you!

I've had the opportunity to deal with this location in person several times & now by phone. I had to tell the young lady working with me, how pleasant my experience was both with her and her associate yesterday. You just don't get that at many places these days. What a bright refreshing vibe from this store and their staff. Bravo to management responsible for hiring. This is what is so important to customer service that's so lacking. I've owned my own business for 30 years. Being pleasant & accommodating to my clients has always been one of many top priorities. A great service & product is up there, too. Lakeshore Learning has it all!

I was excited to come upon this store and shop with my family. I found nice learning supplies spent $200 very reasonably priced however Some of the staff was not very welcoming. We were followed around the store and made to feel uncomfortable and unwelcomed into the store .They need to educate themselves and take classes to become less bias.

Great store for learning materials, but if your black, be prepared to get followed by multiple employees. I've been doing IT for over ten years and have no reason to steal, but this location makes you feel like criminal. Just be prepared to be uncomfortable at this location, shopping while black.
